my battery had gotten to where it didn't want to keep a charge. this battery replacement fixed the problem. plus it comes with screws a screwdriver and both filters. great value.
Originally designed to replace Dyson V8 batteries this pack can be redesigned to use with switching regulators to operate other things.

Theres not enough words of praise for this replacement battery. my husband bought me this vacuum as a big gift a couple years ago and it lived almost a year then stopped working. dyson woukdnt do anything for me but did tell me i could buy a replacement battery but i wouldnt be able to buy an off brand battery for it...that it only coukd be dyson. welp....im here to day nooooo they were wrong. i came across this replacement and thought ya know its worth a try because the price for this is a small fracrion of the dyson brand one and voila...even straight out of the box it powered on so i took it straight to the charger and it started charging and when it was done i was able to vacuum again with my dyson (whom i missed so bad) I cant thank Dinosoo enough for making such affordable products that are such great quality! it works so well and literally saved me hundreds. Do not sleep on this replacement battery...its so worth it
Wow! I was almost ready to throw away my Dyson V8 Animal because I couldn't justify paying the high price for a replacement Dyson battery on a 7- to 8-year-old stick vacuum. Then I found this replacement battery, and it was a total game-changer. It costs about one-fifth as much as the original Dyson battery, fits perfectly, and works great! The two replacement filters included with the battery are a fantastic bonus, making this an even better value.

The low speed works. She turned it on high speed and the battery dies and takes minutes to reset back to the low speed.
