First of all, I wasn't paying close attention when I ordered this product - I thought I was buying small syringes to irrigate my sinuses. But this syringe is 60 ml, 2 full ounces. I was thinking of returning them when I realized how helpful this could be in the kitchen. I have used it often to measure sauce ingredients, liquor, and quite a few other things. I'm amazed at how often I reach for it. Great for basting. It's also great for transferring a little of something or other - no more spilling trying to pour out of a large pitcher or pot. Also has come in handy to verify the size of some old measuring cups and spoons. All in all a delightful surprise.
