A shocker.....must read.
When you first open the box and see all the parts you think "what have you gotten yourself into". You then start assembling and it's really not that hard to put together, it fact rather fun to see how they have designed construction. Now, what you care about. Is it heavy duty. It's not $150 -$250 heavy duty. As you assemble you think it's light duty until it all goes together and because of the construction type it's medium heavy duty. Very affordable and a very acceptable sturdiness medium heavy duty. It's good for magnetic accessories to attach and a solid choice for organizing garage and EGO shrines for us EGO fanboys.

Not quite heavy duty
I ordered this metal shelf for my garage. I can tell you that putting it together was a big challenge. It was like taking 1 step for %26 2 steps back. I was extremely frustrated %26 quit building at least twice. I need to say that the assembly instructions need to be altered a bit, because if you put the center braces in last, it will be a losing battle. As soon as I realized this, I changed how they were installed, putting them in before the final brackets is tapped into place.

Read my review before purchasing
If you choose to purchase measure the wooden shelves and cross support bars before assembling. I ordered the larger shelving unit but receives shelves and cross support bars for smaller shelving unit. I had it partially assembled and I had to purchase plywood to make the shelves. Please learn from my mistake.
