Just tried it today and so far I'm happy. It start easy and cut really well through logs the diameter of the bar. Be careful not to flood it the first time you try to start it after receiving it. You will have to adjust the carb screws after starting it the first time so it idles smooth and revs up max speed.

I had some thick branches and small trees that needed cutting, and my old saw was not cutting it anymore. Borrowing tools every time got old fast. I just wanted something strong enough to handle yard work without calling someone else. Nothing fancy, just something that works. This saw has plenty of power for normal cutting jobs. It goes through thicker wood way faster than I expected. Once it gets going, it runs strong and feels solid in your hands. I used it to clear a few problem areas and it handled the work fine. There are a couple small downsides though. It is pretty loud, so you will want ear protection. It also takes a bit of effort to start, especially the first time. Not a huge deal, just part of using a gas tool. Overall, it does what I needed and saves me a lot of time. It is not light work, but the saw gets through it. Good for basic yard cleanup and cutting firewood. Nothing fancy, just strong and useful.

I ordered this saw on a Sunday and it was delivered the very next day, with the manufacturers box inside a Walmart box. This saw looks very similar to a really popular (very expensive saw). I have run these saws many times and they are always easy to start and run strong. For a homeowner saw, you can't go wrong, even a tradesman could use this saw as a secondary.

For the price point this is a really nice saw. Does it feel like a professional quality saw? No, but if that's what you need then you are going to spend 4x the amount of money at least. For a home owner with a few acres to maintain or someone with a fireplace or does quite a bit of camping, this saw is more than adequate. This saw was very quick to start and pulls pretty easy. I made about 13 cuts on an old 4x4 i had laying around and it cut like butter as expected. The chain came pretty sharp and produces a nice chip as seen in the pictures. It did need a little slack taken out after cutting, but that is quick and easy and to be expected of a new chain. The very basic design of the tensioner is odd to me, but functions well. The book that comes with the saw is very informative and written well. It is a good read for the inexperienced user. The tool kit included is adequate, but i would recommend getting a chain file with a good handle and a sharpening guide. The saw is loud, but every saw is so you should be wearing hearing protection away. The included fuel mixture container is a bit silly. This saw operates on 50:1 mix but the mixing container is only labeled for either 40:1 or 25:1. I recommend getting a 1 gal can and buy the small two stroke oil containers meant to add to a full gallon to produce 50:1. The throttle trigger was a little sticky when i first started it, but after working it a little while it got much better. I was also surprised at the weight of the bar. It has enough weight to it to feel like quality. I really like that it has a metal handle. My name brand saw doesn't even have that. Overall I'm very pleased with it. Time will tell how well it holds up, but again if well maintained and not abused I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be a great saw for the occasional user.

I was excited about this saw, but after using it for two days I am on the fence on this one. It is pretty and of good size and the instructions were good so it was easy to assemble. We have a large property with lots of large trees, so we've owned over 10 chainsaws over the years. We trim our trees often then make firewood from most of the cuttings (see picture) so we we use chainsaw very very often. You can see in the background that we also cut down several 50 ft palm trees this past fall with a chainsaw. We wanted a smaller chainsaw for smaller branches (8 inch or smaller), cutting firewood, and so I could use it (I'm a female and no spring chicken). Turning it on took some arm work, hubby had to do it and it took him about 15 tries to get it going. Once started we set out to cut a branch on a mesquite tree (see pictures), the branch is about 7 or 8 inches in diameter. It works but it struggled to cut the branch, and it took a lot longer than expected. I cut a few pieces of dried firewood and a thinner branch with no problems. I recommend you read all the instructions, wear proper protection and probably use a buddy system. We have a rule in our home, no using any power tools for the first time without a buddy with you. It's just a way to help protect us or get help if something goes wrong when getting used to a new piece of equipment. If they just did a few tweaks on this it has the potential to be a better piece of equipment. I also have to mention that when compared to others, the construction of this saw feels flimsier/lighter.

I gave 2 stars because I could not for the life of me get the chainsaw started and can't say how it would perform. I had somebody else try to start it as well and they were unsuccessful.

I feel bad leaving a bad review but I cannot lie. It didn't start. It would start for a couple seconds and off again and again. I tried for about 10 minutes almost non-stop. Finally got it started for a few seconds and turned off. Eventually I turned it on again but then... after 10-20 seconds, smoke started coming out... which is in the picture. I decided to cut a tree for a last test and it did cut the tree but it made a squeaky sound too. I have videos but I cannot put them here. At this point, I don't feel safe with this product. I hope this helps...

The chainsaw seems to be build well for the price. The assembly instructions are somewhat complete, but you still need to read the complete manual to get all of the answers. The chain instructions show the chain on backwards, which will not cut wood! Third, the chainsaw would not start. I replaced the spark plug and reviewed all of the instructions, but it seems to not have spark to the spark plug. I will update my review if the seller is able to help me get this chainsaw working.

Defective Product, the saw will not start. I thoroughly followed the directions and spent over an hour trying to crank it. I could not get it to start
