6.5-Ton Electric Log Splitter

Great product for the money, great value. Ordering it and receive it within a week.

This 6.5 ton splitter sure beats my old 5 ton splitter. After the old one broke, I was able to split all of the logs that the 5 ton would not split. It comes with great packaging and arrived without damage. That was my biggest worry because it weighs almost 100 pounds. This also turns on and stays running so I can split logs faster and the hydraulic motor does not have to start with every log. This saves on motor wear which is the biggest problem with log splitters.

Easy to move around, quiet enough to be used indoors, easy to operate. I am so glad we took the leap and bought this and our only regret is we didn't buy it sooner.

A great choice at this price point. The fact that it is electric means that it is much quieter than an ICE alternative and much lighter and easier to move around your yard!

Other sites offered the same product at a much higher price. WalMart had several different similar items from a different manufacturers. Therefore, ot was convenient to compare on the same website...

tried the yardmax 6.5 splliter far about 1 hour it worked great with all kinds of hard wood with big knots and cross grain would by it again.

works surprisingly well for the price. Only tested it on half a dozen logs so far and it handle them with no problem.

this is for light weight usage and works very well don't think you can split a cord of wood. Works best splitting aged wood.

The description advertised capability of splitting up to 10” diameter logs, but the machine couldn't split logs 6” %26 7” in diameter of oak, even after turning the log 90 degrees as recommended by the manual. Owners manual states that “If the log cannot be split, then its hardness exceeds the machine's capacity.” However, the splitter was easy to use and did split 3” %26 4” diameter pieces of oak.
