6.7 Cu. Ft. Free Standing Gas Dryer Frigidaire

I bought this dryer a month ago and have been delighted with its performance. My previous dryer has so many electronic bells and whistles it's no wonder it broke down after only six years.

I too miss the inside light - what's up with that? Very dark when putting clothes into the dryer - don't like that it does not have one. Wish I had known this before I purchased it may have changed my selection.

We purchase our original unit in December 2020, unit arrived not working. Replacement could not be delivered until January 2021. Replacement unit is fully functioning. The stainless steel drum was an important feature for us in selecting this dryer as this was the only dryer as this price point with a true stainless steel drum. I have only rated the product at three stars due to other design issues, not the defective original unit. The two major design issues are the lack of an interior light and convex shape of the top of the dryer. The top of the dryer should be flat to provide a more effective work surface for folding laundry and the lack of an interior light at this price point is just cheap. We would buy it again, but the product could be greatly improved with a flat work surface and the addition of an interior light. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I was so excited when my new dryer arrived that I immediately did a load of clothes... when I went to load them into the dryer, popped open the door and quickly noticed that there is no light and the stainless steel tub makes it that much more dark. Every time I open the dryer that bothers me. Call me Crazy but I miss having the light inside my dryer.

Dryer is 1.5 yrs old. Doesn't dry properly and needs constant cleaning of lint trap

Bought dryer January 2024 and had to get it fixed already. Took 120 minutes to dry flannel sheet, 62 minutes for two bath towels and two hand towels. This dryer is costing me more in gas then it worth. Garbage. Don't buy this dryer.
