Fuel types and basic caution
The flame depends on fuel type. The metal case is a bit cheap, and comes off of the plastic. IF the manufacturer can solve this issue that wold be best. using the match is simple. I have not used it in harsh weather conditions. I have only used it on a BBQ. I have tried 3 fuel types, 90 Isopropyl alcohol , butane, and kerosene. The kerosene had the strongest flame, that seems to burn hotter than the others. The issue is filling the small opening, I strongly recommend a funnel. Do not light until all spilled fuel has been wiped off or until it has evaporated from the exterior of the match. Fire comes with risk use your common since and don't let children use it.

I bought these to put them into my camping and hiking, trail walking gear.

Doesn't work even though I followed all directions. Worked once then no matter if I added more fluid or started over with a new one or played with the wick length…. Nothing.

Didn't know what i was getting
No instructions on how to use or refill. Just a pack with the product and nothing else. I guess you must be fully educated on the product before buying and using.

junk
went to use it for the first time and my thumb caught fire. then the fluid hole caught fire. it looked like a torch. then the whole thing was on fire.there junk and a lawsuit ready to happen.

Not even 1 of the 7 lighters I ordered worked!!! Absolutely pure JUNK!! Don't waste your money on these lighters!!!!
