This 73% Lean / 27% Fat Ground Beef is one of my go-to choices for feeding my family. It's always fresh, tender, and full of flavor. I use it for everything from burgers and tacos to spaghetti, chili, meatloaf, and seasoned ground beef for taco salads. It cooks up juicy, takes on seasonings really well, and provides plenty of protein for hearty family meals. While it does have a higher fat content, that's exactly what makes it so flavorful and perfect for recipes where you want tender, delicious meat. The 3-pound roll is also a great value, especially when cooking for a larger family or meal prepping for the week.

I usually buy this roll of ground beef when I decide to make last minute meals or when I need it to make my chili. The convenience of this roll is every time I purchase it is already thawed. Beef is tender to me and the consistency for when I'm making meatloaf is perfect. I don't have to over mix it. And because I can purchase it by the pound, is a perfect size for my quick and easy meals.

I believe a minimum of 25-30% fat is a perfect mix, I need some fat in order for it to stay moist and keeps the flavor locked in, in my opinion. The price of hamburger is getting ridiculous, should never be more than $4.oo a pound, and over $5.oo a pound is again, ridiculous. But the flavor on this has always been perfect.

Again another amazing deal and the fact that I can actually get this delivered to me is still amazing to me and as a stay-at-home mom with no car the delivery whole delivering is amazing for people who don't have vehicles or can't afford vehicles or just simply can't drive and the meat is always fresh

Having ground beef in the freezer lets me know I can whip a delicious meal any time. from hamburgers to spaghetti. I use ground beef as a breakfast item, seasoned to go with grits and eggs and mushroom soup gravey my mom use to make this breakfast. with season salt to flaver the ground beef patties or grumbled. mmm good

Ground beef roll more cost efficent to me than buying individual smaller rolls. Also, to me it is easier to get the bigger roll open it and divide into freezer bags for different meals and flatten so quicker to thaw when preparing to cook. for me it was more convenient to have the larger amount.

This is high quality ground beef for the price! It's perfect for dishes like spaghetti sauce, macaroni sauce, meatballs for tomato soup, and any and all dishes that require a little more fat in the ground beef to be palatable! The leaner versions all fall apart and for the difference in price, I wouldn't bother unless you're making Filet Americain--then it's best to go with pure sirloin ground beef. Otherwise, why pay more?

A three pound tube of hamburger came at a good price for what beef is selling for now. A smart person would divide these up into 12 sections for 1/4 pound burgers. This was used for a large batch of chili, and seemed fine. I am taking away one star (maybe should have taken away 2?) because the fat content (27%) is quite high. It's hard to find 80/20 ground beef at big box stores for some reason.

The price keeps going up but the quality of the meat keeps going down. Mine keeps having really big chunks of fat all through it. I'm talking really hard nasty white chunks of fat! The one time it had a hard spot of fat that was bigger then a baseball,no joke!!! It was so gross picking it all out to throw away.... for what you pay there shouldn't be any of that crap all throughout the roll.

by purchasing there's 3 lb package of beef I separated into three individual 1 lb packs upon cooking the 1 lb packs I found that each pack contained almost two cups of liquid fat, that I drained off when cooked thoroughly. so out of each 1 lb of meat 2 cups of that meat is fat! cooking the whole 3 lb package is six I say it again six cups of liquid fat drained off after cooking thoroughly! you get about 1/2 lb of pound of solid meat, per 1lb. after cooking thoroughly! purchasing this 3lb package, you will get. 1 %26 1/2lbs total, meat after cooking. You ,Are paying approx. $6.00 per 1/2lb of hamburger meat! it's crazy !!! if you really do the math. most of the meals require 1 lb of ground beef. So that is $12.00 for a. pound. just saying.,..
