[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been having rain storms all week, but finally jad a beaitiful sunny say today, so I set up the umbrella. It was pretty easy to do, but I would reccomend 2 people as I am quiet short and feel like some added height would have made it easier and quicker. Seems to be good quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The California Umbrella 7.5' Pacific Trail Series Patio Umbrella is great quality. The umbrella has a stone black aluminum pole with a aluminum ribs push button tilt crank lift .It is the perfect shade solution for my patio and table. I like the pacifica black fabric that adds an elegant look and easy to clean. I would definitely recommend.

I looked at a lot of umbrellas this is a great value for the price. I bought three. I love the green color it is not apple green its more like fern...so it blends in to the environment . Fabric is not cheap either. Must use heavy base to hold down but they have improved the crank is lower so easier to lower with umbrella up, and the strings are longer to tie the thing closed at night, which is so much better than our last ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow what a great looking umbrella that serves my patio well. The look itself is very modern and stylish. Love the black. I had to knock off a star for function - find it difficult to raise the umbrella and get it to stay up. Not sure what the problem is. I just held it up with my hand for the photo. Once I can get that squared away this will be an excellent addition to my patio. Love the tilt and ease to crank.

I am very happy with this item so far, it is well constructed, nice quality, a little larger than the one I had before which is perfect for my needs. I did have a little bit of an issue with the raising and lowering of the umbrella, the knob seemed to be slipping/binding a bit, but it corrected itself and I am hoping there will be no more problems. If it lasts I would give it 5 stars, but remains to be seen, since I have had only a short time. Remember this umbrella does not come with a base, you have to use one you have or purchase one to hold the umbrella.

Directions are on the box literally so do not throw away the box. My daughter bought one like it and she said be sure it is in a big base or it will bend/ break in the wind. It looks good though.
