770P PLUS 12.5 ft Telescoping Ladder

I needed a sturdy, compact 12' ladder for attic access. The online photos of the Xtend 770 don't do the ladder justice. The actual construction is much more impressive than the pictures. Ease of use is a key feature. It is smooth and easy to extend and contract. Just keep your fingers out of the way when you "close" the ladder. The compact size is perfect for closet storage. Since it closes to a couple of feet in length, carrying the ladder around the house is a breeze as well. I now use the Xtend for more than attic access. It is portable and easily fits in the trunk of our compact car. It is a little heavier than I expected, but that is due to the rugged construction. The width is right-sized. It looked much more narrow in the photos. The one I received is trimmed in yellow. I'm not sure if that is intentional on the manufacturer's part, but it is a convenient visibility safety feature for the user and for anyone walking or working in the vicinity. Overall, this is an exceptional ladder and exceeded my expectations.

Great product. Worked as advertised. Used this to install my Christmas lights on the gutter. Light weight and stores easily. Got rid of my clunky Werner folding ladder.

Great invention, used it over a staircase on the step leaning against the sloped ceiling. The ladder has to be the right length. Will be handy for chores previously done with a clumsy extension ladder. If color is important, the color of the plastic parts are a dull dirty orange which is disappointing.

It is easy to operate, takes up no room to speak of. I have ordered the 8 1/2 ft. size as well WalMart is a great store to buy from. Good prices, nice people

very easy to use and store, lighter weight than the little giant ladder although it doesn't have the different positions. very good ladder though. can put in the trunk of car or behind the seat.

Being in my early 70's, big ladders are too clumsy and heavy. This ladder is a breeze to use and helps me get to places that would be much more difficult with a conventional extension ladder; trimming trees, getting into the attic, cleaning gutters, etc.

Our son-in-law was delighted with this gift. It will fit in their camper easily, but allow him to get on top of the camper because it telescopes!

This ladder is great for any outside or inside projects where height is an issue. It is easy to extend, the only problem that I had was when it was closing, my hands were not big enough to hold on to the ladder and push the last three tabs in to close it. I had to improvise with a small hammer to push the tabs in. It light weight and easy to move.

A little heavier than expected. Using it at different lengths makes it special. A good price from Walmart compared to other sources, which makes it a good value. Green lock dots are glued paper and will come off if exposed to silicone,which is something I think will be applied sooner or later for ease of operation. Make sure sections are locked before using. All in all I think it will serve my needs.
