Love it for its intended purpose. I put it places the cat likes to scratch. Usually in places you don't want them to scratch. He's a happy cat now. He didn't like the bubble wrap. So it's works for damage control so as not to tear into wood surfaces.
The trimmable self-adhesive carpet cat scratch mat works great. It saved my favorite chairs from being destroyed by my cats. I definitely recommend

Very easy to cut and to apply. Looks tidy. Color was a bit lighter than pictured but it still is doing it's job well.
