I absolutely love this. it has two holes in the back where I put two screws into the wall and have it flat up against the wall. I guess it protects a surge, even though I don't see anything on it that claims it does. it might be because I'm old. I have it outside against the wall so I can plug a couple night lights and do it so that when I walk out into my carport, it won't be in the dark. anyway, I highly recommend this.

These already have come in handy. Knowing I can't run certain items together on limited power. When I forget, the fuse in the strip blows and saves me the trouble of going to the house fuse box, outside. The additional charging ports are handy as well.

this surge protector works well. It is sturdy, well constructed and heavy duty. It is compact enough to use behind furniture with enough outlets and USB ports. Surge protection is a must in Florida and it's also very convenient to turn off multiple electronics at once to conserve energy. I plan to replace all my surge protectors now. Extra outlets on the strip is a bonus and charges every electronic device where I need them. A definite must buy.

keep.in mind that this cord is not 6 feet long. i am 5'4" and it is maybe an inch taller than me. if you need it to be 6 feet, make another choice.
