The EVA foam is very easy to work with and holds its shape well when heated. It does take a little extra heating time than the standard foam sheets, but worth the extra effort.

Great Foam. I bought some from Amazon, Hobby Lobby, and Michael's.. The one from Michael's was my favorite by far.

Affordable and easy to access, versus waiting for foam on order from some of the major cosplay sites. Though not as dense as the others, will still work if you need it in a pinch, and you also have the capability to use Michaels coupons with it. Be gentle with the heat though, this burns easily.

Making my son a costume. I've gotten to the part of taking casts and making the EVA patterns, but I haven't cut out or shaped it yet. Kinda hard to write a review of a product I haven't really quite used yet but all the same, we shall see how this works.

As an avid cosplayer, I'm constantly in need of different sizes of EVA foam. Ordering foam online had become really expensive due to shipping costs, and as anyone who has done a large foam build, you know that you can burn through a roll of foam very quickly. This is where Michaels ArtMinds foam has come in and saved the day. Their foam is not super heavy duty like some other brands, but it does work well in most applications, and the different sizes is a big plus. Other than 3d printing, most of my builds have come from ArtMinds EVA foam, and the cost to quality ratio is perfect.

I bought this to use on handmade greeting cards. It's so much cheaper than buying individual sheets. The big roll is cumbersome for that, but if you take time to cut it down, it works great. 2mm is ideal for cards, and die cuts with thin dies. I use 2 layers with double stick backing for shaker cards. 4mm is too thick.

Decent EVA foam if you're simply cutting and heat forming, however I've noticed in comparison with some of my other true high density eva foam from cosplay shops that it does not sand well. It tears apart very easily and even with a fine grit, it still leaves a very rough surface texture that will have to be cleaned up more with filler.

Despite scouring the city to find all 3 items showing "in stock" with several available, at the same store, my entire order was cancelled and nothing was available. Again. Surely with the technology available in the world, Michael's could do what almost every other store is able to do, and keep a close to accurate inventory.
