8 Pack: 5.5" White MDF Letter by Make Market

While I didn't plan on buying it, my daughter bought this to gift to her sister. As my girls are teenagers, any opportunity to foster peace and goodwill is jumped on. (If you have teenagers you understand) She painted the letter and gifted it to her sister the next day, 'just because'. The letter showed good quality in that it held up and took the paint well.

This was perfect for a toddler craft! Our acrylic and tempura paints stuck to it nicely, and the colors are nice and vibrant on the white background. The thickness and durability is just what we needed, and perfectly proportional. I'll be buying more!

I used this for this year's stockings. Each child had their own first initial. Unfortunately, I could not find all the same type. This was the exception. It worked for the intended purpose but was larger than the others. My youngest felt special. lol

I used this to create a monogram plaque for a Christmas gift - hot glued it to a wood plaque with doilies around it. Turned out very cute. Would purchase these letters again!

I truly do love these letters. I purchased a J and a Y to use with a jingle bell then put on a base to make the word Joy. The only issue I had with the letters was the staples used to put the hanging tabs on the letters. Since my sing could be seen from both sides I had to remove the staples, Spackle. Then paint the letters. It all did work in the end, but since you've asked, I then a better option for the hanger is needed. Less sticky glue possibly?

These are simple clean letters, however the staple in the back that holds the tag on is almost impossible to get out. I tried pliers, a flat head screw driver, etc. I eventually gave up and my dad got it out for me. There are some spots where the paint has been scratched also.

Good size, seems well made. Shape of letter was good (not too fancy). I wish the finish wasn't smooth...I tried to spray paint as part of my project, and it was a hard to paint (wouldn't stick very well, and required way more painting than it should've). For the price point, they were a good item just wasn't the easiest to work with.

I use these letters for sign displays at my work. They're already painted so I don't have to waste extra time. Sometimes they aren't all properly the same font and some letters are thicker than they should be, but it's good enough for government work. They're ready to grab and easy to glue.
