After buying Wolf brand chili for years, i decided since I’ve never had anything in the great value lime be bad that I would try the chili. Wow! Superior flavor and texture overall to any others I’ve tried and I’ll continue to but it. The only thing that I wish were different about this product would be that it be made available in a larger can size. Chili is to me a comfort food that I always try to have during snowy weather and during the latest week of snow and ice went through multiple cans. I’m next going to try a take on a burrito using this product as it’s generally nice and thick along with the usual other fillings which will most likely also be from the great value line. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
I love this chili %26 beans. I've eaten most every brand but always end up back to GV brand! Actually I find a lot of GV products are as good or better then name brands and tend to be cheaper! I use GV corn chips with this chili or GV tortillas. If you haven't tired this chili I'd recommend you try it, it's really very good! plus why not save some money at same time 👍
I could live on chillie. I have won a few cook offs in my day. Now that i am alone there is no need to make a pot. So I tried every can i could find. I only add hot sauce and raw onion to this one, And only because its my preferance. I buy no other brand now.
I don’t generally write reviews unless something is very good or very bad… in this case, it’s SO good that I had to write a review!!! I am a widow and don’t do much “home cooking” anymore. I have tried several of the name brands of canned chili and they were mostly “edible”. I was looking for a different brand to try and saw that great value had one. I am SO GLAD that I decided to try it!! Not only is about half the price of some others, it’s twice as good!! Definite great “chili flavor”, very thick, lots of beans and plenty of meat!!!!! I did add some chopped onions, dash of vinegar and shredded mexican mix cheese, but that’s only “for my preference”…. but not necessary bcoz it’s delicious just out of the can! This is honestly the closest to my own chili that I’ve ever had!!! This will always be in my pantry from now on!! I highly recommend getting this atleast once to try it!!! If you don’t like it, then you didn’t grow up on the same kind of chili as me, because I don’t know what there could possibly be that would cause someone to not like this?? WAY TO GO GREAT VALUE 👍🏼 definite thumbs up!!!
The Great Value Chilli with beans tastes great. it tastes as good as the name brands, really better than some. It is also cheaper than the brand names.
Like it 100% more than named brand chili. I’ll continue to order great deal. And it is not as costly of the leading name brand chili. Totally satisfied with this chili, hits the spot for me!
Love basic chili beans with beef in them for various purposes in a meal and these are actually pretty good. I usually don’t buy spicy stuff either so these have the best mild flavor to them.
This for a canned chili is very good, I use it on chili fries or Chili burgers, and if you add a little ketchup it makes it even better. It pairs well with cheddar cheese and is very meaty for a canned chili product.
when I don't feel like cooking, or we're making a quick barbecue meal, he's coming extremely handy. you can order with or without beans. they're very meaty and contain no gristle that I can detect. I don't eat ham products so it's nice to meet my kosher diet needs. they're inexpensive and a great source for protein. dump them on your burger, your hot dogs or even in a salad. they make great taco salad.
I recently purchased four brands of canned chili in search of the best one. This one, by far, was the best. It tastes like actual chili, has generous meat and beans, and beats the other brands by leaps and bounds. In case you're wondering, here's the list and my ratings of the brands I tried: Armour Star Chili with Beans 2/5 (blah) Campbell's Chunky Chili with Beans 1/5 (awful!) Van Camp's Chili with Beans 3/5 (okay) Great Value Chili with Beans 5/5 (delicious)
