(8 pack) Great Value Diced Pimientos, 4 oz (Shelf Stable)

I use this to make pimiento cheese. It's delicious. I pour off the liquid then mix the pimiento with 8 ounces of extra sharp cheddar cheese and mayonnaise. I don't know how much mayonnaise I add. I begin with about 1/2 cup then keep adding a little more if needed to get the consistency I like. After the mixture sits a while, it does become thicker.

Pimentos are so expensive. It's like you're eating gold. So price, it doesn't really matter over quality at that point. I've gone through many, many brands to settle on this one. As being the best flavor and texture and price combined. So now it's like, i'm eating gold, but only paying for silver chaching

Sometimes I save the juice to make pimento and cheese and sometimes drain it off in other dishes. It does not have to be a holiday to add color and taste to your meals!

These pimientos are just as good as any name brand pimientos for a better price! I make pimiento cheese every week for my husband to enjoy for a lunch choice. No complaints from him!

I really appreciate the product being in a glass jar, I feel that is what makes the peppers taste so good, but I would love for the glass jar to be a different design.

They are expensive, no matter where you buy them. I put them in my hummus, so I'm glad to have the small chopped pieces. Very good! I really enjoy them!

When I am too lazy to chop my own red pepper. I need to do better, but sometimes it is just better to get these. I appreciate you having this available.

Smooth tasting pimientos I use in my homemade pimiento cheese spread. I say smooth because these don't give me heartburn like some other brands. Very good.

I used these to make some pimento cheese sandwiches and they were tasty. I was expecting a little more flavor out of them, but for the price, it tasted yummy all together with the other ingredients. I added a dash of hot sauce and some cayenne to my mixture and it complimented the pimentos nicely. The texture was good and I feel like value for the price is wonderful. I would buy again.

I love this stuff…BUT the jars are extremely HARD to open. I wouldn't be able to open these jars without the help of my husband. I know this is silly but I am a fairly fit momma. lol! Maybe my ego is a bit damaged from all this.🤣🤣🤣 I've bought 6 jars and they are all terribly hard to open. I bought this item a year ago and I do remember I could open them myself.🤣
