(8 pack) Great Value Sauerkraut, 14.5 oz

I like to use this product to decorate my Christmas tree. I simply put a fork in the can and fling some on to the tree in various spots. It gives a realistic look to my fake tree and keeps the cats from climbing up the limbs to play with the ornaments.

I was surprised. the quality of the sauerkraut was as good as any I've gotten anywhere by any brand. and the price was low, very low. and I love the can sauerkraut on hot dogs and in Reuben sandwiches. I hope they keep up the quality it was in the low prices.

nice product great value . my daughter in law had surgery and doc said she couldn't go home until she had a BM !! she called and asked me what she should do.. I happily said EAT SOME SAUERKRAUT ! guess what It WORKED ,,!!!!! she has never for got this bit of advice 😆

I have used and been very satisfied with many great value items, but this was my first time trying their sauerkraut. I tried this in the crockpot with skinless kielbasa and it was delicious!! I did add a little water bcoz there’s not much in the can at all, but I considered that a GOOD THING! I would much prefer to purchase “just sauerkraut” and add my own water than to “pay” for water!! I always add a halved apple to sauerkraut. It’s supposed to absorb the gas. But other than that, I added a little water, onion powder and pepper and I was very pleased. This will be my go to sauerkraut from now on!! Why pay more for a brand name when this was every bit as good, if not better!! Certainly can’t beat the price!!

Perfect size for serving small family, add cut up 2 inch pieces of polish sausage, hotdogs, and add a small can of bush’s beans in the crockpot with the can sauerkraut . Cook low heat until hot, my husband %26 sister loved it, Excellent price.

it is a basic plain sauerkraut in a can I found it to be fresh and the plain sauerkraut flavor with no spices, which is what I want for the application. I use it for most frequently. We're just putting on a hot dog. I like fancy sauerkraut too, but I like to eat an awful a lot of sauerkraut and always have a can or 20 available sitting around.

This is by far my favorite taste in sauerkraut outside of homemade made. I've tried other brands, and although they are edible, they are just not as good. This has just the right amount of sour and salt.

I like to add "fermented" veggies to my salads for an added probiotic!! I have tried other brands and they might have slight difference in taste but overall it is good value and good product.

No probiotic benefit - canning process kills probiotics unlike with fresh sauerkraut. I found this out too late. Canned is convenient but can detract from nutrition. For my barley-based stew-type meals, I will instead use canned spinach - no probiotics but higher nutrition content.

Great Value Sauerkraut tastes fine and is one of only two brands that I've found that contains just cabbage, water, and salt. There are no preservatives to extend shelf life or chemical agents to retain color in it.
