It is exactly what is described. It works for rinsing rice, which is what I needed it for. I think it's overpriced, but if you need one you need one.

This product work very well when preparing for baking just about anything. The strainer screen helps put air in your flour and prevents clumps from collecting in your baking batter mix.

I finally found a great rice strainer. You should always rinse the rice before you cook it. It comes out 10 times better. This does the job and its is very easy to hand wash. The price is by far the best too.

The strainer is very lightweight and slightly smaller then I'd expected. This works against it at times. I wanted to rinse kidney, garbanzo, and french cut beans oof the viscous fluid they are suspended in. The handle has an issue with the weight. I also use it to strain out the excess tomato sauce in salsa when I'm adding the solids to cooked rice. In both cases the nylon mesh plugs easily. Unfortunately there aren't small strainers that have a less fine mesh so this seems to be the best solution I've found.

It gets the job done for basic rinsing and small straining tasks, but the mesh is a bit more flexible than I expected. Fine for the price, but don't expect heavy-duty kitchen gear.

It is not well made, it won't serve the purpose. I purchases 2 and one was ok but the second one was bad

I bought I bought it on Amazon in early July, but I had to return it because it was torn right from the start. The same month, I tried to buy IMUSA 6in Nylon in Walmart. Every this items were made very sloppily. I tried washing a small amount of berries a few times in this product I bought at Walmart, and the mesh tore. I do not recommend this product; it doesn't matter where you bought it—the quality is very poor. I really hope I manage to return this to the store.
