I am a culinary student who needed a great plate to display my food. These plates are a very great choice. The price was definitely a great value, the quality of the plate is really good especially for the price. I highly recommend others to purchase. 10 out of 10, I definitely will purchase again!!! I love Mainstays Glazed White Round Stoneware Dinner Plates because they are a great value for the money. They are thick and sturdy enough for any type of food you can imagine, and hold up well when microwaving food on them. I've banged these plates around a time or two and they survived it well. The plates have held up well through repeated washings. I plan to buy more in the future.

Over the last 2 years, I have bought numerous of these plates as Christmas Eve Dinner continues to grow year after year. They are PERFECT for exactly what we need. We have steak on them every year and use sharp steak knives and forks on them. They've totally held up. I even dropped one out of the dishwasher, and somehow it was totally fine. 10/10, the perfect hosting plate. Easy to decorate, and easy to accumulate a bunch... just make sure you order a week or two before Thanksgiving/Christmas, or you will be SOL... ask me how I know. LOL. Anyway, buy them. They're great.

I was surprised these plates look as good as they do for the price I paid for them. I have already started decorating my tables red, white and blue for Memorial Day and these plates make everything look beautiful.

I purchased these to take to my daughters house for Easter. The table looked great and they were just the right weight. The table looked great and she should be able to use these for many Easter's to come.

I like the dinner plate standard size of this glazed stone wear plate. I like the slightly heavy weight. I like the neutral, calm color. I have used them in the dishwasher. I like them for everyday use but I would use them for dinner parties too. Sturdy plates, great value, excellent quality. The finish is slightly shiny.

I love this white glaze stoneware. Mainstays stoneware dinner plate is so pretty for any type of gathering. Looks classy enough to use for a semi formal event, or for every day dining. So versatile! The white could be mixed with other colors, neutrals, or metallic dinnerware to make a unique place setting. However, using all white, as pictured, looks really lovely as well. Unlike some stoneware plates, these are sturdy without being heavy. Aside from its use for meals, the large 10.3 inch plate is also the perfect finish and size to use for having children craft a keepsake plate for birthdays, holidays, or just to have fun! The plate is microwave and dishwasher safe (unless it is decorated for crafts). Do handle with care, though, to keep your stoneware chip free.

We are diligently removing plastic from our kitchen and pantry. We had been using beautiful melamine plates for years! You could hardly tell they were plastic! These plain white plates are absolutely perfect and the price is unbelievable! I think they were eight of them for about $12. The only reason I did not give them five stars is they are heavy. But now that I think of it that's probably good because they will not easily break! We also purchased salad plates.

These are great sturdy plates. I bought for my kids because I got rid of all plastic plates. These are pretty heavy and substantial. Good value, I'm sure they will hold up a long time.

These plates are listed as 10.3" but when measured they are actually 10.75." It's disappointing because that's about a half inch of difference from what's listed. I bought them specifically to fit into my dishwasher's bottom rack, which they don't. If size isn't an issue, I'm sure they would be fine, especially for the price!
