I love that they have this option of do-it-yourself and the fees are minimal compared to many other companies. I feel really safe- and my family feels secure that we have something in place. You have the option to use the screws or tape suspension- which is great until you absolutely know where the system will work best for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within 20 minutes of opening the box, we had the system set up and ready to go. I LOVE that everything is wireless, with the exception of the base, but even it can run off of batteries when needed. The sensors that alert you when a door/window are opened have helped us to feel much more secure, especially the one on our back garage door, which is on the opposite side of the house from where we sleep. Even if you decide to not add the service to your system, it is still a great security system, and provides extra peace of mind. If I were an intruder, someone pushing the "panic" button alone would be enough to deter me from whatever I was doing (even without the police automatically being called) due to the noise that it omits. I am very happy with this security system and would highly recommend it to anyone.

It doesn't require wired hookup and the app is fantastic and easy to read, interpret and setup. I will definitely be expanding my security with more products and recommending this to all my friends.

I was not happy with that arrangement and appreciate that the SimpliSafe base station only needs a WiFi connection to get up and running. Setup via the iOS app was very quick and I had 4 door sensors and motion detector working in under one hour! App interface is simple, but I prefer that. Easy to use all around and the alarm is actually quite loud (accidentally triggered during testing, but hey, that was a good learning experience).

It took about 45 minutes for me to have everything positioned and up and running, ready to protect my home and loved ones. Because the entire set-up is wireless, there are no cables to worry about. All I had to do was follow the app and stick the sensors on doors and windows, where they blend seamlessly. The motion sensor is amazing in how it works but does not get set off by our dog, which I was concerned about. The base station also blends in nicely and looks like it belongs. I love that there was even a yard sign included to deter intruders. The app is so user friendly, it really makes the whole system very easy for anyone to set up and use. Choose to monitor your home on your own or choose professional monitoring for a fee. Bonus that this system allows for additional add-ons like other cameras or water leak detection, which I might add in the future. Overall, very pleased and extremely glad I can feel confident that my home is protected when I can't be there. Excellent choice for any home.

Now our closest neighbor is about a mile down the road. I wanted to purchase something that gave us a sense of security but I did not want to be on camera every time I moved. This keeps our home secured by letting us know if someone is coming in the house when we are not expecting someone. The biggest calming for me is at night time when it is pitch black out. It was pretty easy to setup, even for me, who is electronically inclined. The only thing I did kit like and why I gave it a 4 star instead of the 5 is because I have had to rest it. It very well could be an operator error. Like I said electronically issues. But overall it gives me the sense of security I need.
