SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

Matt July 20, 2026

KEEP YOUR SANITY AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!! I purchased this unit because of the low ceiling height and more importantly, for the 110v option. After the purchase the company was very quick to respond about the delivery process and I also asked a couple questions regarding the install. The company always responded in a timely manner (from China) and I thought everything was going to go smoothly. The delivery company was able to get the huge wooden crate back to my shop and that night I cracked open the crate to see what I got. The unit looked to be packaged pretty good and most of the hardware was even in its own airtight plastic container. I unbolted the brackets and unloaded the parts. Several of the larger parts had chips and scuffs in powder coat from shipping but I really was t concerned too much about that. After unboxing I decided to crack a beer with my buddy who came over to help with the assembly. Unfortunately, the users manual they send doesn't have any assembly instructions or diagrams. Additionally, the users manual the originally emailed to me contained information that was different from the one that came with the lift. One manual said the required slab should be 5-1/2” while the other said 7”. The unit was sent with different concrete anchors that what both manuals showed, it was sent with all “male” fittings so the hydraulics couldn't be hooked up, there is no mention of bleeding the air from the hydraulic lines and so on…the company didn't avoid my questions or concerns, they just kept telling me I had thing installed incorrectly (the parts in question are factory assembled). So here I am almost a month and a half past my purchase date and when I went to plug in the unit the other day, I quickly realized the 110v plug is attached to a 220v motor which obviously won't work. I reached back out to the manufacturer yet again and they tell me that only their scissor lifts come with a 110v option even though it very clearly reads 110v option available for the 2-post lift I purchased. The company offered me a $200 refund for me to keep this non-working unit. Amazon sells a few 110v hydraulic pumps so I'm going to have to try that route or be out my full purchase price. Bite the bullet and just buy the Max Jax unit, I know people who have had a great experience with that product. If this company were to include a real assembly guide and clear instructions on the setup/operation along with a quality control program, I could see them selling a TON of these. The overall build quality is acceptable and the hydraulic components feel like good quality.
