800LB Heavy Dumbbell Set

Product was properly packed, handled, and delivered. The condition of all the weights is excellent; they're covered with a thin coat of oil to prevent rusting. The product quality is outstanding—completely opposite of what some reviews claim. I highly recommend it. The cost-to-value ratio is one of the best on the market, so if you're hesitant because of quality concerns, give it a try and see for yourself. You can always return it if you're not satisfied.

Very solid! just like the ones you find in the gym. the handles were oiled up when i got them and the smell was strong. i just cleaned it with alcohol and problem solved. Highly, highly recommend. Box was torn up but thats to be expected. Poor fed ex workers.... the box was heavy!

I purchased this set with the 550lb large set of dumbbells. These are pretty decent for the price. The weights are not to a calibrated weight so if you was looking for dumbbells with the exact weight less /- 1lb these are not the DBs for you. When I received mine I ended up receiving 3 individual 35lb dbs and 1 40 lb db. I had to call in a return because unlike these review the items were not individual. So put in the return, All items were individually packed, so I returned the extra 35 lb dumbbell after talking with the customer service rep. I sent the item back and I was told I would receive a replacement with a couple days. Well a couple days passed I didn't receive anything. Call Monday the next week, I was given the run around and was told he would look into it. No change again, I think a one point I chatted with someone through their help chats system, not sure how i might have done that. By this time is was the holidays so I wait until that was over called again, was told they were going to elevate the ticket. Its been nearly 4 full weeks since my original return was processed by this time. So I go over everything again, and I see the working on the return "Pair". Got to thinking how am i supposed to return a pair when that is what I was missing. So I decided to, with my own money $40, send the 40lb db back to the same place the first dumbbell. Well there it goes I get an email saying the return has now been received. So now its been a week since they have received both dumbbells and 35lb dumbbell and a 40 lb dumbbell and its new item has not shipped yet. By this time and the money I spend to ship the 40 lb dumbbell I could have just ordered 40lb dumbbell set and been dome with it. The 5lb - 20lb DB sets are fine. Smells like oil but I can live with that.

There's 2 point of views for this purchase. Poor quality for what you're paying and if you're just an average Joe trying to get your workouts in without the worry of quality. Hear me out. What I mean is this weights WILL come with the oils from the factory. YOU have to clean it with a dish soap and a rag and some have little dents and sometimes material sticking out. I'll attach pictures. The second POV is IF you don't mind all the things mentioned in the first then this for the price is a steal. If you had CAP dumbbells before then this doesn't compare to those. I attached a comparison between CAP and these. In my opinion the material sticking out is not acceptable as it can lead to cuts. This is also machined finished not chrome plated (if stated by company)

This would be a great dumbbells set however, they are very oily and have a smell to them. I've wipped them down multiple times but the oil keeps coming. I should have known because the boxes were grease stained. They leave a stain on tye bench and your hands are slippery.

I looked at a lot of dumbbell options and ended up going with these because it was a lot of dumbbells for a good sales price. They arrived a few days ago, and I put the rack together in my guest room, which is the only place I had room for that and a weight bench. The dumbbells are sturdy and heavy and seem of good quality. However, I have a big problem with the odor. They reek of oil so bad that my entire guest room now smells like a mechanic's garage. It's horrible. You can also feel the oil on your hands when you pick up the dumbbells--the metal handles are slick. I have tried wiping them off and rubbing hard, but the oil is still there. Guess I'm going to have to try washing them with dish soap. I get that oil protects the metal, but no one wants their home to reek of motor oil. I wouldn't want to stay in a guest room that smelled like this! Also the 25 pounders are super heavy, and I doubt I will ever use them. Now I wish I'd gone for a lighter set, maybe the kind that has the Neoprene coating. I got a lot of weight for my money, but it's really more hardcore than I need and I hate the smell. Unless you're going to put these in a garage or some place where you don't care about the smell, I'd say avoid these.

The handles were greasy and the rubber part left black oil stains on my mat. In addition to that, the box with wet, like it had been flooded for a long time. The staples in the box had rusted, the lee was water in the plastic with the dumbbells itself, and the inside of the boxes were covered in mold. The employee expected me to keep to molded boxes for sake of having the barcode so I could return it and told me that I was responsible for finding another box to shop them back in.

Looks nice BUT this product smells absolutely DISGUSTING! When it arrived, it was covered in some kind of grease and had a horrible odor. Like a strong burned plastic odor. I tried everything—disinfectant wipes, all-purpose cleaners, and cleaned it maybe 10 times in this week—but nothing worked. The smell is so strong that it made my entire room unbearable, and even with the door closed, I can still smell it from the kitchen. I'm definitely returning it. This has been a huge hassle, and I seriously regret buying it. Never recommend it anybody.

I received the 20lb dumbbells but still have not received the 5,10, and 15 lb dumbbells. Fed ex tracking shows it has not yet been sent to fed ex. And that its label was perhaps misprinted. I ordered this the beginning of December. Still no dumbbells. They are for my son for Christmas. I would like them by Christmas or a refund for the 5,10, and 15lb dumbbells. Thank you

Saw reviewers mention the odor, and thought I'd try anyway because some are more sensitive than most. These smelled ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. My entire garage smelled so bad, and there's also an oily film that doesn't wipe off even after cleaning with an all-purpose cleaner. Please don't buy. Let's get this junk off the market.
