Great for a 99 Silverado
These are great, work well, a little difficult to put on and take off but that means they're at least nice and secure and won't fall off when you're driving. I used them on my 99 Silverado and they fit perfectly.

On ease of install
I was having difficulty snapping the unit on - man handling it I guess. I got one on and was struggling with the other and my wife came along and just twisted slightly and it was done. She removed them just as easily. The mirrors were slightly shaky. Instructions say you can tighten them up but you need to take them off first , , , I intend to do that before I use them again. It's a good product . Fit is very good. Almost looks like original factory equipment. I am very mechanical but I still had difficulty after my wife showed me exactly how her hands were positioned.

It was a little difficult to get the bottom to click into place, but they work well. Glad I can see beside my 28' camper while towing.

Didnt seem secure enough
The quality seemed good but they didn't securely snap onto my factory mirrors as designed. Due to this, I returned the item in store because I was worried they would fall off while driving.

"Zip" tie it on !
Does not "Snap" in at the bottom at all ! No matter hard you force it !
