OK it's my first Smart TV, it took half a day to get around two things that stomped me first was of tuning off subtitles and second how to get back the folders in my 4TB HDD. So All's great, just love the picture way better than the 18" I've been watching for 16 years.
Bought this from LG just before Christmas and I'm very impressed , 4K looks amazing and to my surprise the sound has lots of bad perfect for movies and music videos I must say I didn't expect it to be this good and I have a 2024 QNED86 55 inch in the lounge they're both mad smart TV's but the OLED beats the QNED86 for sound , picture quality is more pure on the OLED but the QNED86 is 120hz so is the OLED so you get what you pay for LG rocks
I couldn't believe how great the picture is, a whole new viewing experience! Very easy to navigate, no problems at all!
Simple to use User friendly Great software Superb picture
TV is excellent, we mounted on moveable stand and it's great colour in sunlight or dark room
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought just over a month ago to replace an older LG TV and it is superb. The picture quality is much better than my old set and the smart features are much more comprehensive. The connectivity is excellent with apps for every streaming service you could want. I also use this TV for gaming on my Xbox series x and PS5 pro and the picture quality is incredible and the refresh rate makes games seem so much smoother.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought the TV over a month ago, and one of my worries ahead of purchasing was regarding the glare as the TV would sit opposite my window (about 3 meters away). I'm happy to say that even in sunny conditions, the TV picture has been better than I had expected.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For over 20 years we've owned several LG TV's. Each time we've replaced them we've experienced a step change in performance. The OLED55B56LA is absolutely brilliant and we've experienced the biggest ever step change in performance especially with its Black contrast picture quality (film viewing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided to buy this to replace an old 27" LG Ultragear monitor as I'm avid flight simmer. OLED gaming monitors are just ridiculous money, especially something as big as this so thought, TV it is. Pretty plug and play with some minor set up, no need to connect to the interwebs either. Also got my PS5 hooked up with the TV taking full advantage of VRR and 120hz refresh. Just make sure you get decent certified HDMI 2.1 cables, a lot of fakes out there. The TV has auto power saving so dims the screen if not touched for a bit, useful when staring at blue sky for a couple of hours. TV is a breeze to use, and the menu is much snappier than the equivalent Samsung smart TVs. The picture is sharp and in a smaller room, the HDR quality pops. Not really delved into any of the AI upscaling malarkey as I'm mainly using it as a PC monitor. All in all, highly recommended. 👍
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this TV a couple of days but very impressed so far. Was concerned about all the online reviews regarding the brightness during the day in bright rooms. If watching in filmmaker mode in HDR it can seem a bit dim but when watching through other picture modes or through the normal skyq box it is more than adequate in my opinion. Only slight niggle is when trying to watch media in media player it can be slow in playing and sometimes has been stuttering or cutting off. I'll have to search to see if a way to improve this in settings. Other than that picture quality is superb and, once you take of the energy saving settings, more than bright enough. Depending on the quality of original picture, the AI up scaling can look unnatural. However i have found that if you go through the picture settings there is a mode that always seems to improve it. I don't think there is a one size fits all picture setting for every type of video quality but there always seems to be a particular picture setting that improves all of what you watching. I having mostly been using the AI sound mode and no complaints with it. TV does sound much better using soundbar, as most do, but no issue with sound in casual viewing just using TV. Happy with purchase so far.
