85470 / 85470 Inline Water Filters Washing Machine Inline Water Filter

This filter that I use on the water hose going to the washing machine before it fills up is really great, IT WORKS!! Have tried others that haven't. Easy to install . My washer was not filling up with water due to the sediment, no more. Installed it in November %26 still working well. Normally I wash 3 large wash loads a week. According to the literature it's suppose to be good for 6 months. We'll see, will do an update. I've ordered another one just in case since it's so easy to install

I have a private well and the sediment filter on my new washer was needing to be cleaned after every load of laundry. So far, I have done 5 loads since placing this filter on my water cold line. This is easy to install. It is a little bit expensive but if it lasts more than a few months,it will be well worth the money.

These work great. Just make sure you have the inlines that are far apart or you can only use one.

Good product fix problem would buy again

This product has great quality. Even though it's plastic, it is made very well.

Have used this filter for almost 6 mos. White clothes before were turning a dingy color due to rust in my water. This filter has corrected the problem. Was concerned by the reviews stating that it leaked. I used plumber's tape to connect to washer and have had zero problems. Just ordered two replacement filters also. Great product!

i liked the compact size, however; it didnt want to allow the hose to attach properly and after switching hoses there is now a constant leak. i take it off and no leak. was really hoping it would help but sadly it didnt!

It's fine. But repair tech says I need something larger since on well.water

Looks like it will be easy to install but it isn't. May be there are descrepancies with the thread on the part that connects to the water line too small for the visible eye to see, thus the frustration.
