This is not your typical school multi-section notebook. The cover is much sturdier and looks and feels like leather. The corners are sturdy and tipped in metal for extra durability. There are multiple color coordinated sections with tab labels to coordinate. Attached to the back cover is an elastic band to use as a page marker. This is very well made. The paper is substantial enough that a magic marker is not likely to bleed through. The pages are labelled in such a way that you could use this as a journal, for class work, as a diary or, as in my case, to start saving all the miscellaneous recipes from multiple sources. A beautiful hard covered note book with paged tabs. It also has folders inside and is large. A great notebook for anyone. The spirals on this notebook are thick and not flimsy. I really love this beautiful organized notebook.
