8x11 Same Day Custom Cover Photo Book

First my order was delayed, then when I got the email it was ready, they told me it wasn't ready. 3rd time to the store it was finally done. The quality is horrible and they got the covers backwards. Print quality is the only thing good. I would not recommend this book. Highly unsatisfied and this was a Christmas gift I'm maiIing to the UK so no time to have it corrected. I attempted to use the Walmart photo book service to make a storybook for my son for his birthday. Submitting the photos and pages was somewhat straightforward. I made sure the images were well within the margins and submitted the book, hoping that it would look the way I had submitted it. When my order was ready I picked it up, only to discover that not only was the book poorly put together, with the paper cover on sloppily and the spine barely glued together, but half of the pages were missing and the ones that were there were cut off. Even if the pages had been there and the photos had not been cut off, the quality of the book just isn't great, and I still would have only given it 3 stars. I would recommend saving your time and ordering a photo book from another company, or not attempting to do the same day photo book.

These books looked awful. the covers were not glossy. the paper on the covers was ill fitting and the printing was bad. The album pages were all dark and covered part of the photos in the binding on each page. The paper on the inside of the cover was uneven and you could see that paper from the outside of the book. I got a full refund from a very nice guy via chat.

Do NOT buy this product. I got this for my son's GF and it was full of her senior pics I took. I have bought photo books of this size from Walmart before and they were great. I guess I haven't bought same-day ones like this. I saw it, and took it straight to customer service and returned it. The outside cover is wrapped in thick printer paper, not a glossy finish like the other photo books I have bought in the past. The print quality of the photos on the covers was good. The spine/binding wasn't sticking, so it was bulging and looked ridiculous. The inside pages were of nice quality photo paper, but something was wrong with the printing. Everything was too high contrast and did NOT look good. I have bought many, many photo gifts from here--books, prints of all sizes, posters, banners, mugs, blankets, etc, and have RARELY been dissatisfied like this. Again, don't buy it. Wait it out and get the one you can get mailed. Sorry, I don't have photos of it, as I returned it immediately, while still in the store.

I ordered a photo book at 10am. I got an email that it was delayed at 1:15pm. At 130pm it said it was done. When I went to pick it up they said "Oh. Sorry. We actually don't have anyone in this store that knows how to make a photo book. You can try submitting it to another store. You can call support to get a refund". You couldn't have told me that at 10 when I submitted the order instead of letting me wait half the day? I called support. They said it would take 24 to 48 hours for a refund after paying $45 for it. So I have to pay another $50 for another store to hopefully make it. They also gave me a $15 discount on any order above $25. But it just happens to not work with photo books. I called two surrounding stores and nobody answered at either location. Why offer the service if you don't offer the service?

I purchased a “same day” photo book. I received 3 notifications the next day from Walmart stating my order was ready. Went to pick it up and it was not. They stated they didn't have the supplies at that time. Re-ordered to another store and the next day I again received 3 notifications that it was ready for pick up. I called to confirm and again it was not ready. Took 4 days to finally have the “same day” photo book in hand and I was even more disappointed at the final product. You Could tell they rushed to have it made. There were ink smudge marks on the front and back cover, scratch marks on numerous pages, misalignments on how the put it together, etc. If I didn't need the book THAT DAY for a farewell gift for someone I wouldn't have accepted it. Walmart IS NOT the place to have a photo book made!!!

It was so bad it was funny. Even the employees were giggling - like a five year old made it. Completely falling apart. Felt like an old puffy photo album from the 90s. Images had printed streaks. The prints are great here but RUN from the photo books!!!!! I got a refund easily and immediately.

Had to go in 4 times over 2 weeks for them to tell me it still wasn't ready because they were out of stock of the “hardware”. They never called me or anything. They just keep telling me it wasn't ready yet and to come back. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift so I was extremely disappointed and they kept telling me to go on the app to get my refund but the app wouldn't let me because the system said it was ready to be picked up.

I have spent $80 for a product that has been less than quality! I have done ALL the work on the phot project and it looks great on my end. The photo department does a terrible job of putting the product together!

I ordered my photo album online. Later I got a phone call that the order was received and they will start working on it. The guy who did it admitted that he has never done it before. When I went to pick it up I was shocked. The book was falling apart. Not glued properly, wrinkled. Garbage. They wanted to redo it. I said I have no confidence in them or time to go through it again. Because it was a birthday gift I asked them to destroy it and give me my money back. They destroyed the book in my presence (the picture attached) but they said they cannot return my money. They told me to call my bank and tell them that I never received my book. Even though I told them I didn't want them to try to redo the book, a few hours later they left a message that they did it anyway. I already purchased another birthday gift since they ruined my book. No book, no refund!
