9 inch 21V Cordless Electric Weed Eater, Battery Powered Weed Wacker & Lightweight Grass Trimmer with 4.0Ah Battery and Charger for Trimming and Edging

I used this around the fence and flower beds where the mower can't reach easily. The trimmer feels much lighter than older gas models, so my arms didn't get tired quickly. The battery lasted long enough to finish the front and back yard in one charge.

The assembly instructions are limited and hard to follow in comparison to other assembly instructions I have used in the past. The string trimmer works well but the string cables wear out a lot faster than I had expected. But we used the string trimmer to edge the sidewalk . For the suggested retail price this tool is a good value. It is easy to adjust and use. And very quiet when using. The percent of power available indicater is great.

This trimmer is really easy to use and surprisingly powerful. It cuts through thick grass and weeds without any problem, and I like the wheels because they make it much easier to control. It's lightweight and comfortable to hold, so I don't get tired quickly. Perfect for small yard work and quick cleanups.

It is exactly what I was wanting and expecting. This is a lightweight trimmer for small jobs and lighter work. I'm happy to say that the charge on battery lasted the hour plus some. I ran it mostly with the wire trimmer installed. I also installed the 2 guards, and the tires, to see how all those pieces worked and to see how much weight sifted off of me. I found that the trimmer is light enough that the tires are not a necessity for me, plus I was not trying to keep an even height on my lawn. I was on a mission to kill weeds around all of my pots, in between the bricks on the brick patio and along my fence. Was able to do all that, but I had to stop because the thicker woody weeds kept breaking the lines. I replaced them until I ran out of the ones that they provided . I didn't have any line to fit this weeder to continue weeding. If you have just simple grass, then you should be okay. The weeder is quiet but it still has some cutting power to it. Not sure why the lines broke so easily. It could be that they are not quality lines or that the trimmer is not spinning fast enough so they wrap around the woody stems and then get yanked off. I will try new line. Changing the line is a bit time consuming in comparison to other weeders. On this one it means taking a screw off, then the trimming head, adding line to it, then putting it back on. It is nice that they provide you with the tools for putting the whole thing together. The instructions are okay, but they fail to show/explain that the guard for the wheels, and the blades (see pics) has a grove to fit it properly on to the trimmer. Once on then you have to twist/turn it until the 2 small screw holes on the guard align with the 2 holes on the trimmer (see pic). Then you screw in the 2 small screws. Either the pole is too wide or the clasp is too small for installing the handle onto the pole (handle is adjustable), so the screw won't come out the other end to secure the nut. We solved that problem by squeezing it all together with 2 pliers (see pic) but it took two of us. There may be a better solution out there. Write where it was purchased and the date on the machine for future reference i.e.(Wal 3/26). Mark the length of the line on the machine so it's always cut at about the same length (see pic). You will get used to the line always being about that length and it will make you a better trimmer. We own several trimmers, 2 Stihl, and a Husqvarna, so we are familiar with weeders, I just wanted something lighter and to not be messing with oils.

wheels are useless. the flange is not stiff enough to support them. plus the screw holes don't match. i removed the red housing and drilled 4 matching holes. got longer screws to attach with. the circular blade works great. cut through saplings up to 1/2 inch with no difficulty. larger trees bind blade. battery life adequate. lasted longer than this 70 yr old. should change flange to sturdy metal for wheels to be effective. would be worth paying a little more for extra strength.

It comes with a couple of blades that looked like circular saw blades and they don't seem appropriate for the power of this tool. I had to take it off. It was cutting the cover As far as ease of assembly it was OK but the instructions were very confusing particularly with the heavy duty blades I did like the rhombo blades, but they wear down too fast. I wouldn't send it back.

It's not a heavy duty item. Seems flimsy with mostly plastic construction. I have only used the wire cable attachment. why do you get three of them? They don't last. I substituted large string after my cable disappeared. Worked well. Superior control due to wheels and handle let me trim closely around planted trees without damaging them. I can't comment on the metal blades yet. If you are looking for raw power, check elsewhere. I plan to keep mine due to the controllability and light weight.

I'm torn about this product. It has good points and some not so good. They do have plenty of additional attachments. ( 2 batteries, 3 string blades, 3 metal blades as well as 2 saw blades. Light weight and adjustable head tilts. The wheels make it easier for hills and level land cutting. Battery lasted well with my yard. The instructions are vague at best. It came with the nut attached to a string blades. ( did not last long at all ) I recommend the metal blade. On that note. It required me to melt the plastic to get the much needed nut off the string blade. It is a bit taxing to change blades. Would be nice if it had some kind of quick release. The wheels and its blade cover does not lock into place so it does move about when rolling. I would recommend this to ladies on a budget and doing their own outdoor work.

its just what i need for my little lawn... but it came with only instructions to load the blades.. it didnt come with instructions on how to put it together ..because it was in a few pieces and bags of tools with other parts for it. it also came with the plug for the charger but no actual charger

Horrible instructions and the cover did not match up with pre drilled holes which made it useless. The primary reason I bought it was for the cover that you can attach the wheels to and use as a mower. I never got to use it. Disassembled and put back in box to return
