I used this elastic to attach my call button. It was originally worn with a chain but the chain kept digging into my neck. I replaced the chain with the soft elastic and the sore on my neck healed right up.

I use this elastic to make the small loops for use as a buttonhole on tops, etc. The elastic makes it easier to get it over the button, and provide some 'give' to the garment neckline. It doesn't break like a thread loop would.
