Healthy hamburger 🍔

Anonymous June 18, 2026

Love 90% and above lean ground beef. It's just as healthy as chicken or turkey. Most people don't purchase it because it's cheaper to eat chicken and turkey. I personally don't like bird meat. I eat lean ground hamburger and sirloin steak regularly as in weekly 😋 Sirloin is the leanest fat steak. I'm almost 50, weigh 150, and don't have any health problems. I say that says it all. Yeah, it's more expensive, but who doesn't love burgers and lasagna 😋 I'm not eating salads. 😆

I found it frozen in my freezer from Feb. '26. No

anonymous May 23, 2026

I found it in my freezer %26 and I put it freezer 2/22/26 . There was no freezer burn and it still tasted great. I added it to some leftover pasta sauce. Very yummy.

I usually buy the 93% lean but some recipies call for the 90% lean saying it needs the added fat. To me it doesn't seem like I saved money with 1 lb of the cheaper cut when I'm soaking up all that grease in a paper towel but have very little grease in the pan after cooking 1lb of the 93%. So using the 90% in say a meatloaf recipe seems counter intuitive. I really did not notice better taste or texture of my meatloaf either.

Better Quality/Less Fat

Jewell February 26, 2026

This is my go-to hamburger. I always buy the ground sirloin as it is a better quality of beef. With this being only 10% fat, you get a lot more meat for your money. The only time I get the regular 80/20 beef, is for hamburgers because the more fat keeps them from falling apart. This beef I use in all my other recipes.

Nice but very shiny

Nancy January 31, 2026

Nice set but maybe way too shiny It is very strong I have to laugh at the shovel shaped piece It really looks like a shovel! But I've found that the shovel is actually well thought out like peas, scrambled eggs don't fall off because of raised sides

Contains added natural flavor

Kim May 6, 2026

Sirloin shouldn't need added flavoring as an ingredient. This used to be fantastic but unfortunately with the added ingredient I will not purchase it again. It's a shame

Placing orders online because I have no means of transportation in order to get my prescriptions on time and orders ended up cancelled because no driver was available, poor communication from store with customer even though I pay a membership fee every month in order to receive this service, customer service giving me a promo code for $10 off next order trying to use the promo code and it's not valid.

I no longer purchase

Alexis April 10, 2026

I used to buy 2 packages of this ground beef every 2 weeks or so to make dog food. More times than not, it arrived (I use InHome) on or 1-2 days from the expiration date. Walmart needs to train the pickers to not grab nearly expired items for delivery! I now buy it at Sam's or Costco and it's a better deal and always days out from expiry.

I would like to give it a 0. I was sick last week so after I put in my order for groceries my son put everything away. I usually expect meat that I buy to be good for a few days after I buy it, however both packs of meat were best buy the day they were delivered. I'm on a fixed income supporting myself and my autistic adult son, to have to throw away nearly $20 worth of meat that would have made 3-4 meals for us really hit hard. It's bad enough prices are as high as they are, now they are sending expired food to those who rely on their paid delivery services. Billionaires winning, veterans dying.

Wasn't Walmart already sued (class action, already settled) for shorting weights in meat products?!? Well, when I spend almost $8/per pound for ground sirloin, I expect ONE POUND of ground sirloin. I have consistently received 10oz, or LESS. The last tray was 10.1oz total (packaging tray included), and 9.3oz actual meat. I will stick to purchasing name brand meat products. Those companies obviously care more for their customers. Good gosh, I miss Cub.
