I have experience with both basic and fancy telescopes, and this one is a great starter telescope for anyone wanting to get into the astronomy hobby on a budget! I bought it for my kid to see if she was into it before I bother lugging a more complicated telescope from the attic. My 9 year-old absolutely loved it and she was able to get the hang of it almost immediately. Assembly is super easy, with clear instructions. The telescope itself is a nice size so it can be left assembled without taking up too much space. The carrying case it comes with is great and makes transport and storage super easy. It also comes with a multitude of eyepieces which makes it flexible to use and allows expansion of your astronomy skills without needing to buy more. I especially liked the bonus phone adapter that lets you take photos and videos from the telescope with your phone. It lets us track and play back our explorations. Pro tip: You might find it easier to set your iPhone to video instead of photos even if you're only wanting to take pictures. I would not hesitate to buy this product again and would recommend it to any friends or loved ones looking to dip their toes in exploring our universe.
This was my first telescope, and I really like it. You can see the moon clearly right away, and even stars look sharper than expected. It doesn’t take long to set up, and you’re not stuck messing with parts trying to figure it out. The different lenses give you enough zoom to play around without feeling complicated. For the price, I can’t complain. You get everything you need in one box, and it actually works the way you expect, and the phone adapter is a nice extra. It is a solid deal with good quality for what you pay, especially if you’re just getting started. This is a great gift for someone who’s getting started on the hobby.
I recently bought this telescope for my kid, and honestly, it’s been a really fun addition to our evenings. The setup was very simple—we had it ready in just a few minutes without needing any complicated instructions. The size is perfect for kids. It’s lightweight and easy to handle, so my child can adjust and use it without much help. The tripod is stable enough for basic viewing, though you do need to make small adjustments to get a clear focus. In terms of performance, it’s great for beginners. We were able to clearly see the moon and even spot some bright stars. Don’t expect professional-level clarity, but for a child who is just getting interested in space, it does a really good job. What I liked most is how it sparked curiosity—my kid now actually looks forward to going outside and exploring the sky. That alone makes it worth it. Overall, this is a good starter telescope for kids. It’s affordable, easy to use, and perfect for introducing children to astronomy in a fun way.
It’s very compact, which makes it easy to carry around, and the assembly is quite intuitive. I didn’t need to go through the entire manual to set it up, though the instructions on the lenses are helpful especially for beginners. The lens holder plate is super convenient for switching lenses and finding what works best for you. The moon looked incredible through it. The phone camera holder is also a great addition for taking pictures, I really liked that feature. Overall, it’s a solid telescope and a convenient, worthwhile purchase.
I got this as a gift for my son, and it honestly feels very premium. The quality is great, and at the same time it's lightweight and easy to carry anywhere. Easy assembly. I attached photos of the crescent moon using the 25mm and 10mm lenses — the focus is really amazing and clear. It also comes with a phone holder which covers all phone cameras except one, which makes it easy to capture what you're seeing and another holder on the target I used it with a sky scanning app to help locate objects in the sky, and it worked great. Really impressed with it!
The product was well packed in a carrying bag. Easy to assemble, pack and carry around. The complete setup took me around 10 mins. Coming to lens they are excellent quality for the price I paid. Overall, satisfied with product and price, worth it. Great for beginner astronomy.
Pro: easy assembly like a camera or camcorder using a screw tripod set up for the telescope quick to use, no or little learning curve so great for beginners storage case and compartments convenient for traveling or camping due to the size Con - tripod is a short for an adult so had to crouch or squat (5’2” here too) - optical zoom is not phenomenal but expected with this type and style Overall, this is a great way to see the moon, constellations, and the night sky when out and about.
Great telescope for both beginners and casual stargazers. This telescope delivers clear, sharp views of the moon and planets, and the sturdy stainless steel tripod feels stable and well-made. The phone adapter and carry bag are thoughtful extras that make setup, transport, and sharing views super easy.
Very sturdy and portable telescope with multiple attachments. I was able to focus on the moon and the craters were visible and it was great watching the night sky unfold before my eyes. Pro tip - try to use the telescope somewhere you don't have a lot of light so that the images are clearer.
I bought it for my son’s birthday and he is really excited to have it. Easy to assemble and comes with all the parts and instructions. It needs some time to understand it and how to use it but ultimately end results are fine, specially for teenagers. My son spend a good time to see stars in night. I think it’s a good telescope for starting.
