We purchased one and installed it on our front door -- we wanted to be able to leave to walk the dogs without having to take our keys. Worked perfectly, purchased two more for the garage and backdoor and installation was smooth. We've had them for a couple of weeks now and all doors are working perfectly. We did notice that one of our doors was not drilled out deep enough for the lock to fully deploy. Once we drilled it out deeper the lock worked fine.
Easy installation - my 15yr old daughter read the instructions and installed the lock. I followed up and set the programs. As a homeowner (and not a professional installer) I was greatly surprised at how simple it was and how well the installation guide was written.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lock for rental property and it has been flawless for 4 years. I can control with my phone and renters love not having to deal with a key.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this lock now for a year now, and have had no problems.
I bought 9 months ago and im very satisfite . This product work perfectly Any Time
Bought last spring. Installed very easily. Was able to re-key it in just moments. Didn't hook up the Z-Wave since that would be a later project. All summer and fall it was wonderful not having to worry about using a key. It was installed in a vacation house 3 hours away from my full-time home. In early January my wife drove out to the house and discovered she couldn't get in. The code didn't do anything and using the key, the cylinder just spun around, the deadbolt wouldn't engage. Cold and wet, she had to spend the night at a friend's house and call a locksmith the next day. He got it working but said it doesn't work reliably and would likely happen again if put back into service. A lock isn't worth anything if it isn't reliable 100% of the time. I bought one for my new house. The installation started off easy but during unlocking the deadbolt would not retract all the way and would leave you locked out of the house. I exchanged it for a new one and the same thing is happening. The auto lock feature continues to unlock the door. After it is unlocked, lock the door and the auto lock unlocks it. Returning it and wish that I could give a lower rating.
