[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using this lock for only 24 hours but it is working beautifully for our needs. It was simple to install, my 13 year old did most of the work with my husband's guidance. My favorite feature of it is that you can delay the lock up to 99 seconds so if you're running in and out, you don't have to enter the code every time. This is a high-quality lock with many features. We installed this on the door from our garage going into our house. It's a door that we rarely ever locked but I find comfort knowing that it will be locked at all times now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed my SmartCode 917 lock on my Ski Locker at our condo. Not only does it eliminate the need to fumble for keys at -10 degrees to open, the lever type handle is an unexpected bonus. I did not realize how much easier it is to just push down on a lever then to turn a knob. It took about 45 minutes to install and program the lock. It fit perfectly in the current holes and cut outs. A majority of the install time was taking apart what I had installed incorrectly. The reason for this is, some of the instructions are not as clear with both word and drawings as they could be. Once I realized this, it made more sense. If done correctly the first time, it only should take about 20 minutes to install. The ability to add additional and temporary codes will be a real advantage as we let other use our condo and eliminate the need to give out keys. Another cool feature was being able to re-key myself the physical key lock to match other locks. The look and finish are very elegant while minimizing the number pad. The other features that I really like is that there is no enter key, you just need to hit the 4 digit code (can be up to 6) and it unlocks. Bottom line is that the SmrtCode 917 really is a great way to upgrade a lock that is used on a regular basis with the added benefit of minimal effort to get in the door. Pros: Looks good Lever handle Easy program and multiple codes Cons: Need to really follow instructions (lots of little details)

easy installation to replace doorknob on exterior door. does not interfere with the deadbolt hole. I was able to program a few codes with no problem. it does beep if you hold onto the handle too long. overall I am happy with purchase and am considering purchasing another one. I would recommend.

It has already made our life so much simpler for our kids getting in when coming home from school and to give the code to family members when they come by. Definitely recommend getting this lock.

I'm considering redoing all our babyproofing and putting this lever on all bedrooms and closets! It only took a couple minutes to install and is solid and sturdy. I highly recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How is interested in automating things around the house. Caring a key so 1980s. With this item you can simply type in a code and immediately get into your house. It's nicely made and matches other similarly colored hardware of the home.

The lock allows for 30 different codes to be used that can be customized for friends, family and others as the need arises. Having this lock has given us another level of security.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this electronic lever, looks smart and is user friendly. Instructions are easy to follow and easy to install. Coding was also straight forward, codes easy to enter and delete allowing temporary access for neighbors or contractors without the need to furnish a key. Being able to switch between auto-lock and passage makes it very convenient and the back lit keyboard means there is no problem seeing the numbers in the dark. Great product, quality materials used.

Great product, however the plate that covers the battery compartment keeps falling off. One of my contractors knocked it off and now we cannot find it. Wish they sold that as an individual part so we didn't have to buy and install and entirely new unit. Other than that, I just love it!
