This is a nice beginner sewing kit, or to carry for travel. It doesn't strike me as generally something to give as a gift. There is a wide selection of moderate quality sewing accouterments at a great price. It's exactly what I was looking for to keep in the van.

I want others to know that this product is absolutely amazing and a great offer from Walmart.com. I am very impressed with the overall quality and the sheer amount of the great sewing supplies this case has. The case is simple and holds everything well. I'm very thankful and grateful for the opportunity to own this product from Walmart.com. There's really a lot of great needs for sewing, including many threads and a couple thimble. Also There's thd case that is slotted and has elastic to hold everything. For travel, you'd have everything you need. This is such an expansive kit, I use it for home use, even though you could travel with it. It's truly a great find.

This little kit has everything. It's smelling up so that you can take it while you're traveling too. I got it while it was on sale, yet I would still buy this again if it wasn't on sale. 🙌🏻

Excellent product

This kit has far more than the basics. But the needles and thread are too small and thin for basic repairs. And whoever decided that the thread doesn't need to be unwound deserves to be fired. Probably got a raise because the kit looks so neat and organized. Not for beginners people with poor hand eye coordination large fingers poor eyesight or low tolerance for frustration.

was happy with the assortment until i saw in the picture the 6 large eye needles were suppose to be in a small plastic tube.. i opened the tube and it was Empty.. no needles or anything inside. somebody forgot to fill it?

Large eye needles were not included, the case that the needles should've came in was in the carrying case, but the needles themselves was not. This corresponds to another review from another customer. The clippers and other stuff were scattered around/not fully contained within their respected spaces. I wouldn't say this product is bad, just know what to expect from this review.

This is the type of kit you get to keep in the car in case of emergency wardrobe malfunctions. If you do much sewing, you'll cringe. It arrived in a state of complete disarray, the thimbles were smashed flat, and most of the thread selections are colors that do not occur in nature. Quality for the price? That's hard to say. It's low quality for a low price, so, does that count as a balanced ratio? The case seems to be the highest quality of all the pieces. Absoltely will not work for what I needed, so I'm returning it. For semi regular mending, you're gonna want something better, but for a couple emergency repairs, it's probably fine. If I'd been able to look at it in the store, I'd have bought something different.
