.9oz Jack Link's Teriyaki Beef Strip Bar 1/1

This is by far the best and meatiest jerky I've ever tasted. I always buy this brand for my fishing trips with my family, but when I saw this huge hunk of jerky on the shelf next to the regular bags I usually purchase I just had to try it! I was not disappointed! It's thick and meaty and as I write this review I am craving more of it, but unfortunately I already ate it all. I guess I better wrap up this review so I can go get some more!

Great snack on the go. Yummy and soft enough to easily chew

This is good chewy jerky. It has that tough jerky texture when you first try to bite into it. However, after tearing a piece off, the texture quickly turns into a chewy treat filled with nice teriyaki flavor. I like my jerky, and I was not disappointed with this jerky treat. The Jack Links teriyaki beef steak strip is excellent. I love the flavor with a little but if sweet, yet saltiness. Only 70 calories and it's a great pick me up. It is tender and chewy. This is good but not exceptional. It's a slightly thicker piece of jerky and it has a nice texture to it, not tough, just slightly chewy oh, and I like the size of the peace in the packaged. I was a little disappointed because it really doesn't have much of a Teriyaki flavor although it does taste good. My biggest complaint would probably be that it feels slightly greasy which I wasn't expecting. Aside from that, though, I think that the quality of the meat is there and it does make a nice snack. At first bite I was sold. Though a true omnivore, I have carnivorous tendencies. The Jack Links Original Beef Steak Strips are tender by jerky standards while still being very toothsome, true to style. The sugar cure is not overly sweet, and with the touch of cherry powder, a nice counterpoint to the smokiness. Noticing on the label, 'Product of New Zealand,' I wonder if the beef is grass fed. This jerky, honestly, was not the best I've ever had. Besides being a little too sweet for my taste, the texture was slightly off. It's a good snack size though if you have problems eating a whole bag when you buy jerky. :) -This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own. 

I was fairly disappointed in these as they seemed like a unique protein bar that would be like regular jerky. I really did not like the texture and it felt processed. The flavor also felt slightly off and not like their regular jerky which I love. If someone gave this to me I'd eat it but not worth spending the money on.
