A and E Cage Co. Double Flight Cage-Platinum

I chose this particular cage with the divider as I am using one side for my Lovebirds and the other side for mu Cockatiels. We have 5 Lovebirds and 4 Cockatiels and there is more than enough room. Very spacious even with all the toys added. I have no regrets and have already requested to friends. Many thanks

This has to be the best double flight cage on the market. It's very large and there is enough room for our Mynah to fly back and forth from end to end. I researched before placing my order and this one has great solid, doors and only two nest box openings on each end. ( that I zip tied for extra safety). I did not use the center divider. Others like this have multiple lifting doors that can be harmful to birds if they lift and try to put their heads through. One of the plastic trays did arrive broken so I took a picture with my phone. I first called A& E but was directed to call hayneedle, and they had me email them the picture and are having a replacement tray sent to me from A&E. Great Costumer service. I must say that if you are not use to putting cages together, you will be in for a bit of a challenge as there are no directions. Just a Picture of assembly that gives you a general idea. Once you get the bottom part assembled the rest is pretty easy. I'm giving this 5 stars because, I feel it's the best choice on the online market for a good long double flight cage. Bars are half inch so you could put quite a few different sized birds in this cage. Be prepared to buy some quick lock crocks for food and water and some better perches for your birds feet.

This is the second double flight cage I have purchased & I love the size and ease of cleaning. As everyone else has stated, the instructions are awful! They basically tell you to screw pieces together to form a cage. The cage arrives in 2 boxes & I recommend keeping the pieces separate since each cage is packed separately. The stand is in one of the boxes with all the screws and bowls. Once you figure out what the pieces are, it goes together pretty easily.

I am 62 years old and never took time to review a product. This is probably the best item I have bought that simplified my life. I am stock broker and very busy and had 8 parakeets. I had four cages and had to cover each one every night and the mess were terrible. This cage is just beautiful and my birds love flying around since the other cages did not allow that much room. It looks beautiful and everyone who has seen it has said how great. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

I have 10 parakeets in 1 cage and 2 cockatiels in the other, they have so much room to play and fly around. This cage has a great finish on it, so easy to wipe off messes.

I have purchased 3 of the single flight cages and have loved them, this time I decided to purchase the double flight. This cage went together with no problems (it may have to do with putting together 3 other cages). My finches love the cage! it gives them the width to fly. You will not be disappointed with this cage!

This is a terrific cage, and we really felt it was WELL worth its price. It rolls easily, cleans easily, and we love it as much as our many birds do. They love being able to ""communicate"" through the (removable) center wall, which stil allows us to separate lovebirds from finches! We thought the included perches were a bit boring, so we added curvy manzanita perches. The included feeder cups kept falling off, so we replaced those, too. We didn't care, we bought the Altoona for the home, not for the accessories. Assembly was challenging, as no written instructions were included, just an exploded diagram, but we worked it out and are VERY satisfied with the high quality, heavy construction, the cage's overall beauty (we have Pewter color) and flexibility, and the ease of cleaning.

This is a great cage for my little finches. They are enjoying their new home and flying area and the cage looks attractive in my home. I would have rated the product 5-star except that it arrived with a small shortage of hardware and one of the trays has significant 6"" cracks on one side. The cage is constructed well enough without the missing hardware and the cracks on the tray have sealed nicely with duct tape. As most reviews indicate for this cage, assembly instructions would be very useful in minimizing the time it takes to put the cage together, but it is fairly simple to put together by trial and error.

The cage itself seems to be okay. However, when we first recieved the cage it was incomplete, along with NO assembly directions. When I called the company to get the right parts along with the directions, it took an additional week. The directions that I got were no help at all. It named pieces as ""letters"", none of the peices came labled. There are four different sizes in screws, AGAIN the directions DID NOT specify which ones went where! It is very aggrivating putting something together that you paid good money for and your unsure if your doing it correctly. After everything was finally put together, there were extra screws and other small pieces that I have no idea where they go. For someone that has never put together one of your cages it was a real pain! I would highly recommend that you put better directions together for your consumers.

The cage is great but I'm missing apart I am missing the replacement rod for the divider when you pull it out that's a huge gap in the space. It was a pain in the bum to put it together the instructions are horrible some of the holes did not align with the other holes and we have to redrill some of the holes. Overall I canaries love the cage but I want to open the center divider but where is that rod that keys the opening close? The gap is too big to leave it open like that specially for little birds
