This cage is perfect for 2 Sun Conures. It is a sturdy cage. It was a great price. Shipping was the day I was told it would be here. We are very happy with it. The only thing is the directions to put it together were not good at all. But this was easy to figure out without direction. One suggestion assemble the 2 sides & back then wire on top before the front.
Made well as always. Bird and owner safe. I have another A
I really like this cage (as does my birdy) with one exception... The cage that I received has 1 door latch on feed doors that fall out if not careful but I packed some material in the hole and pressed the latch in and it is staying, so far. Otherwise it is a great home for our Sun Conure.
I really like this cage, its only drawback is you cannot hang a bed or toy or swing from the roof, there are no bars only a flat panel of solid metal, which means side mounting only(and most birds really enjoy swings.)
Color is not shown properly on the site. Platinum is bumpy like the other colors. It is more like a soft grey with beige sandstone weaved in. Very pretty. My Green Cheek is very small in it. I got it because it has a breeder door and I might get him a girlfriend at some point... and I hate cutting holes in my cages for breeder boxes. It is very well made but takes a while to put together but is pretty easy to figure out how to do it. Mine came with a rusty wire on one part.. I wiped off the rust.. and a bend and chip on one of the trays. I would prefer to have gotten a little bottle of touch up paint as some other cages provide. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
This is a beautifully built cage and we are very happy with it. I deduct 1 star due to minimal assembly instructions. I had to figure out which hardware goes on where and connected to what. I used all of my engineering degree on this. LOL To their credit they did include a few extra screws, nuts, and bolts, which came in handy.
This could be a little ""indulgent"" for my Quaker Parrot because it could easily house a larger bird, but I really like it and so does he. It's even larger than I thought (so be prepared). I did a lot of shopping around before I bought this one and I am very pleased.
The cage is beautiful, but seeing that it was made in China concerns me about the safety of the paint, etc. used. There was no information either way with the cage, and that is worrying. Also, the instructions were inadequate to the umpth degree because the were not written by an English speaking person and barely explained screw size, etc. It took several hours to assemble as I was on my own with it.
The birdcage is nice for the price paid. The instructions could be a little better, the screws were all bundled in one baggie, all different sizes, and no description which size screw went where. You eventually figure it out. I like that they give you extras of some pieces, and it seems to clean and roll easily around. Will probably get my next one from here also.
We have not assembled it yet, but there are NO DIRECTIONS and its from China which is not an issue but it costs more than $300 so there should be customer support or instructions. I hired someone to try and figure it out. This has turned into an expensive project!
