Disgusting Moms Ruin Christmas-Themed Movies
This movie may be centered around Christmas but is nontraditional in a negative way and ruins what a Christmas movie ought to be like. While the title and rating (R) hint at possible content and controversy, the so-called moms are crude for the sake of being crude (and "different"). They are actually disgusting, as are their mothers. "F-bombs" can be expected in a movie with this title and rating, but not when used across three generations (including a child). I did NOT find the movie interesting, enjoyable, humorous or amusing. The dialog was poor, the violations of societal and familial norms were excessive, and the characters were not likable. I've seen all kinds of movies and am very tolerant of the atypical and bizarre, but this movie has no real value other than, perhaps, attempting to portray highly dysfunctional families that never learned generational boundaries or using filters when talking to parents or children. I suppose there is a small minority of people who might like the movie. I am not among them. I'd recommend skipping this movie and picking one that represents Christmas as you know it. I considered giving this movie a 1/5 rating, but the effort and "creativity" into writing the story (almost any story) earns at least a 2/5 even if it is a lousy movie. I'd seriously question the existing 4 and 5 ratings. This is NOT a good movie or worth watching.
