I am a beginner Mahjongg player and this book was an excellent guide for beginners. Explains the game in logical manner and has a summary and quiz after each chapter to make sure you understand the topic. Easy to read with good diagrams and explanations of terms used.

Excellent Primer for New Players
This is a great book for beginners. I've recommended it to many friends! It walks you through the game of mah-jongg in a very easy, understandable manner. I liked practicing with the examples and completing the quizzes to check my knowledge.
