Over 20 years ago, I purchased the same book by the same author. It was much thicker with many more pages; however, 20 years later, the hardcover book is still wonderfully made. I cherish moments spent reading to my grandchild.

This bible has lovely, detailed pictures. It will be treasured for a long time. I would give as gifts!

Wonderful Bible for young, beginning Christians
This was bought for grandson #2 who showed an interest in his older brother's bible. Of course, it had to be the same, so having the handle was important. Overall, I was most pleased with the ease with which I found it and its delivery within the time frame noted. My one "dislike" is that the back cover was slightly "smudged" (tried cleaning it, but not successfully), and it was "wrinkled" a bit as if something quite heavy had been dragged across it (hence, the smudge?) Being that it's the back cover and it's going to a VERY active boy, I'm sure it will be put to the test and that will become a minor imperfection!!!
