Overall these is a good beginning set for a child. My son is 5 and received it for his birthday. He's been wanting to play nonstop. My only complaint is one of the latch pieces is to loose but it ultimately is exactly what he needs in a beginners set
My 10 year old grandson loves his chess set. He needs to practice for tournaments. The chess board looks rich. Nice. Great quality. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
Well made, the wood feels great. The pieces are light weight. I like how you can store the pieces.
Compact and good quality pieces
Purchased for a Christmas present so I didn't remove the wrapping. From what I could see, it met my expectations.
Good quality for the price
I liked the idea that the board held the pieces but it's a poor design. As soon as it's opened all the pieces fall out. Nothing secures the pieces to stay in place. I've put a photo on the review to be able to see this.
horrible design. every time we want to play we have to dump all the extra pieces everywhere it gets annoying.
