Where completely charged and ready for use
I haven't been using them very long, so far so good.
Using these for flashlights and call box for hunting. So far they work great.
Have used Powerowl batteries for 10+ years. They have never failed me after constant use until very recently... In other words they have such an incredible life! Even batteries with a full charge sitting around without use for many months are ready to go! I still have some that are 10+ years old but my stock is slowly dwindling therefor I have purchased a new batch! One batch every 10-15 years??? How can this be bad... especially in an age of incredible waste and redundant technologies???
So far, so good. Not sure about how these will last for high powered devices. I am using them for kid remote control cars and mouse batteries at the moment. They seem to last for a good amount of time. For the money they are definitely a good product and will end up buying more as I need them.
I thought they were supposed to recharge in the sunlight. I use them in my garden lights which used to recharge until I put these in. Maybe I did something wrong? Dont think so. Lol it's pretty straight forward. They work like any regular AA battery is all. Dont waste your time if you want rechargeable batteries.
The AA claims 2800mAh, and the AAA claims 1100mAh. My testing is easily meeting the tolerance of these specs, and in some cases over nominal. The batteries also handle a high amp draw, with the AA delivering over 11 amps at max draw (will overheat if this is done too long) and AAA delivering over 9 amps at max draw. These are quality batteries, that meet their specifications. I highly recommend.
Needed to rehab my yard lights. These were the easiest step. The painting and minor repairs were not all that much fun. Popped these batteries in and BAM bright as new. Can't speak to their longevity but hoping these get the light to their end of days.
Upon purchasing these batteries, I charge them up to 100% two days later for interest. I recharge them. They showed approximately 75% charge. I then proceeded to place them in a four cell flashlight now remember, they should be capable of replacing your standard Duracell, etc. What I found out was my flashlight died in 10 minutes. I recharged the two pack of batteries that I purchased watching closely the meter rating of the capacity I picked the best for cells and again returned them to the (led) flashlight, the flashlight drained and died within 10 minutes. These batteries do have a high milliamp rating and this should not be happening.
I tested all the cells twice, and got an average of 2150mAh(not 2800mAh) for AA and 800mAh(not 1000mAh) for AAA. By all means they will last longer than Dollar store single use batteries and will cause less pollution long term. But capacity also plays a roll in how much energy each recharge delivers. If they are charged every 3 weeks instead of each month, they will "trash worthy" sooner.
