It does just what it said easy to put together then just slide under your mattress but what I don't remember seeing out side the box is the mattress thickness for this bed rail but I'm still using it just being careful helps me to get sitting upright from the laying down position and I see why they said be careful of getting trapped in the bed when you extend the rail I don't need that feature I just put a firm easy living pillow beside to stop you from falling out of the bed it's nice
Compact, easy to assemble bed rail. Sturdy material. Will be helpful for people who can still move around. Provides a little support and moderate safety, improving quality of life. Not only for the elderly, but also for minor surgery recovery patients. Not recommended for children.

This bed rail was very easy to install and works very well as a bed aid and safety rail. We are very satisfied with the structure and flexibility of the extension feature. I would readily recommend this product to anyone in need of a bed rail.
