A beautiful, almost magical sound. Very soothing with the slightest touch. This instrument is all it was promised, all I could hope for. Can't wait to learn how to play "In-A-Gada-Da-Vida" (actually "In the Garden of Eden") on it! I'm betting it will bring the song back to its original meaning!

I bought this for my autistic grandson and left it laying on the kitchen table to see his reaction when he got home from school. He clocked it immediately and and picked up the mallets and started playing with it. Granted he isn't playing any song but the sounds are very soothing just randomly striking the drum.

I have purchased a few of these as gifts over the years. I love mine so much. This is similar to an idiopan, more than a tonguedrum. The sustain is incredible and magical. My grandson is seven years old and can play songs, rhythms and beats that would be more difficult on another instrument. I am going to move him up to the handpan 22 when he masters this pan. He wants to take lessons and that will happen soon. Every age is a good age to start playing this amazing instrument. The ethereal sound surrounds a room and baths it in magic. I truly think that you develop a bond with your drums as you learn the sweet spots. The price was incredible on this Hluru drum. I have paid $200 and more for the dual sound hole design…on much lesser quality. At $61.00 on Walmart it is truly incredible!!! If you are thinking of getting one, buy three!!! Your family, friends and strangers will want to play it. For only $61.00, they make perfect gifts for family/friends! This is a heavy drum that doesn't go out of key and is tuned to C pentatonic. This is the perfect note for our purposes and for beginners as well. In any event, if you want to change key and pitch, add magnets to the inside along the meridians of the notes to change them. It is fun to play with and can change the way it sounds in really cool ways. I highly recommend this particular tonguedrum. At this price, for this quality, you cannot go wrong!!!

I bought this for my autistic, ADHD grand son. He absolutely loves it. The sounds he makes on it are so different and unique and soothing. Definitely not like the sometime annoying loud sound that can come from banging on drums or pots and pans. Even though he doesn't know how to play songs on it there is just not a bad note or sound. He enjoys it and my ears enjoys it. It's also nice to have the carrying bag included so he can take it where ever we go. I would definitely recommend getting on of these.

Very nice complete set was delivered quickly. The drum is sturdy and attractive and it came with a lovely case to carry it with additional accessories, mallets and information. The sound is good and learning to play will be interesting.

Impressive. There are some extras I don't understand. 4 little black finger thingies and 1 black curly thingie, included. Nothing written or illustrated regard8ng these items.

For the price? I was expecting a cheaper model of the ads I've watched. Instead I have a beautiful drum with accessories. Only one 'key' at first was a little dull. So I put one of the stickers in a spot where I can get the perfect sound. I am not even close to being a musician, but even I figured out playing "I Can't Help Falling in Love with You." Highly recommend this product. Not just for guests to give it a try, but all by yourself when you need to relax and calm down.

there werent any instructions to know how to use the miscellaneous pieces that came with the drum. i still don't know. the music book was vague. the drum is beautiful and easy to ring out notes. i enjoy my drum during quiet meditation in the mornings.
