My experience with this product is that it really works and is able to clear up all cold sores .I know flu and cold easy brings out the cold sores, but this product here will clear you up within 325 days of a cold.Sore, just keep reapplying and remember not to touch it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always liked Abreva products, they are effective high quality products that are always in my drawer. This cold sore cream is easy to apply, has a wonderful minty smell and is highly effective at healing cold sores and shortens the healing time. My favorite thing about this cream is the pump on the tube, it makes it super easy to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you suffer from annual cold sores as I do than Abreva is for you. I have had this problem since I was young and mostly occur in the Fall and Spring. I honestly keep a new tube on hand all year round. As soon as you experience that "tingle" feeling, grab this tube and apply! I promise it will cut down on the healing time and if you can catch it at this stage you can get a start on it before it gets out of control. I love the way it takes that tingle feeling away and helps with the itching feeling. I am so thankful that this product was made for sufferers like me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a bunch of different creams to get rid of cold sores in the past. It doesnt have a weird smell or color. It isn't magic but I definitely felt like it sped up the healing process!! Glad to have extra on deck in case another cold sore pops up!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time user of Abreva cream. When I feel a cold sore coming on I reach for it. Usually I can avoid a real breakout if I use it. I wouldn't use anything else! The only change I would make is to make the package easier to open. Not a big deal but it would be nice.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this on and it dries my cold sore out fast and when I felt one tingling like it was coming I put some on and it never did come. It works really well. A little goes a long way and it's nice. I applied with a q tip to avoid contamination with the nasty cold sores lol
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rarely get cold sores, so this was more for back up sake but this brand has always been a trusty reliable one especially when you have problem areas on your lip from those pesky cold sores. Seems to help recover the area fairly quickly when applied daily.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. This product will come in handy for cold sore season. Especially with having the active ingredient docosanol. This will be great if you need a fast and effective treatment when you need it.
I used Abreva a week after I had gotten my cold sores, I don't get them very often, but when I do they stay for weeks. Just make sure you know how your skin will react to the ointment. I used it, but after 2 days, it kept getting worse, making my cold sores so bad that it had contracted in my facial nerve. Which led to the spread of it to one side of my face. Please make sure that your skin will not have a bad reaction to this, like me. I'm not saying it doesn't work because my friend raved about it, which is what led me to use it. There are 2 pictures attached below, one when I got my cold sore, and one where you can see them spreading to my face. I'm only posting this to bring attention to this matter, not to bring harm to the company.
Product works great but the little pump bottle that shoots out too much, gets clogged and stops working just sucks! Plus I managed to pop it open after it seemed empty and there's probably half still in there. Fix it
