I am a nerd, all the way back to the C64 days. I have built and worked on more PCs than you can shake a stick at. My last rig was due an update. Usually I would update components (GPU-CPU-Ram and so on) to save money. With the price of Ram and video cards (GPU) you can't really save anymore. At the time of looking to upgrade, my specs were - ASRock B450m Pro 4 Mother Board, 16gb of DDR 4 3200 Mhz Dual Channel Ram, Power Color RX 7600 XT 12gb GPU and a 1TB Sata SSD.
After a week of looking, I settled in on this ABS Cyclone Aqua Gaming PC. Only 2 times in my life have I ever bought a pre-assembled PC, so I was a bit nervous. It came in quickly, with everything it offered, not a scratch or dent. Windows 11 was pre-installed, so getting it running was as easy as plugging everything in.
I immediately installed 3D Mark and started Time Spy. I was blown away at the performance, it squashed easily, my score from the last rig. I installed a few test run games, did some video editing, 3D editing, rendering and so on and the results were absolutely amazing. Running games at 1440 and at 4K was a breeze.
The case is pretty basic, as is the cooling, but it never ran hot. This was also my first Intel CPU going back (This will show my age) to the Cyrix and Cyrix 2 CPUs, then into AMD only. Almost the same for GPUs. I was ATI only, then AMD bought them out and eventually started the Radeon line of GPUs. I had owned only 1 Nvidia card before this, it was the GTX 1070 OC Founders Edition 8gb, which was surprisingly powerful. But I was more than surprised at the power of this 5070 12gb card. It aced everything I threw at it haha.
This was a well worth it purchase, it by far exceeded my expectations. Whether you're a gamer, or you do editing and video only, you cannot go wrong with this rig. You're totally getting your moneys worth, with this PC. Hopefully when I finally wear this one out, I will be able to get another quality rig from them. 5/5 Stars - I recommend this rig to anyone.
