This support bracket worked great for me. It is durable not too heavy or hard to put together. I had it up and running quick as can be and now my room is ice. Cold assembly wasn't confusing and the construction was great.

AC bracket that works
Well made,great to get proper angle of degree for ac drainage. prevents ac from falling out window.best for window AC weighing around 75 to 100 pounds. No driling into window frame

Good Try
Installed successfully, but: 1) the imbalanced weight of my air conditioner made it precarious on the central load-carrying bar, 2) that central bar leaves a large, irregular-shaped opening under the a/c that should be filled with foam or something.\nThe instructions have no pictures or diagrams, so a little extra imagination is required to assemble it.\nExcess paint run or possibly bent side rail required fixing with a vise before it would fit in the center rail with the plastic locking strip.\nIn the end, I decided to de-install the device and made a small wooden brace to use instead.

Not for everyone.
Does not work with all windows! We have new, vinyl windows and could not make this work in any of them. Might be good for some people, but for us, this was a waste of money.

Falsely advertised
This product is not as advertised. It's not universal. It's meant for an up down type window and not a sliding type window. I had to order it twice. The first time it was missing a piece and I couldn't put it together. The second time I put it together only to find out it was incompatible with my sliding window. Both times the package arrived open with pieces hanging out. The instructions were not well written and were missing what I would consider important information for assembly.
