I absolutely Love this french press method coffee maker. It's been great to use and the quality of the coffee is excellent! It's my standard breakfast blend, leading national brands like most people use. Nothing special there. It's just the method of brewing %26 the 4 stage filtration of the unit. I have never tasted a cup of coffee with all of those complex flavors before. All of the coffee oils %26 the creamy foam head is a new experience for me! The unit holds 1000ml and the borosilicate glass keeps the coffee hot a long time. The 4 stage filtration system is the biggest selling point for me. Most only have a 3 stage filtration. The spout is easy to pour from. The container is not very large and takes up almost no space on the counter. It's appearance %26 design both contribute to It's simplistic elegance. Being both practical %26 artsy at the same time. The Morning Coffee routine, will Never be the Same Again!!

The same is that it makes good coffee. But, the item itself is too light weight, I suppose to keep the price down. Take my advice, buy a more substantial one that costs a little more. You don't save any money with this one.

This French press does exactly what I need it to do. It's not fancy but works well to press the grinds into a nice cup of French press coffee. Definitely recommend

I really enjoy brewing loose leaf tea, and this French press is exactly what I needed. As indicated, coarse ground coffee is best. If using regular ground coffee, you might want to let it steep longer to avoid ground filtering in your cup. After my 1st use, I attempted to return the maker. I found out to let it steep longer and I have not have any issues since. It is the best French press coffee maker I've have in decades.

If you've never tried using one, do it! a French press is almost the purest way to make an outstanding cup of coffee. You can use typical coffee grounds and make them tase as if its a fresh roasted coffee from a gourmet coffee house. You can use less coffee and still have a stronger coffee if you use actual gourmet coffee.

This French press works well and is pretty easy to use and clean. It's lightweight, with plastic parts that are secured to the glass. It's very thin glass, so it doesn't seem like it will stand up to hot water for an extended use. The one star off is because of the way the plunger all screws together. If you have problems with grip or little screws that are really hard to keep track of or put into really small holes, this may be hard for you to assemble for cleaning. But overall, it will work for others, if handled very carefully.

I'm being nit-picky here because I don't like spending my husband's hard-earned money (lol) on cheap stuff. This broke after like two weeks of use! Granted, it's just a little plastic part on the very top but it DOES affect the overall process and on top of that, I have had to reassemble the push-down thing about nine times now and that is no bueno.

I don't drink much coffee and so I hoped that the French press would make it taste good not really crazy about it. I'm gonna try it again tomorrow with less coffee. I used what I found for the recipe 1 tablespoon for every cup of water gets too strong so I'll try again tomorrow.
