Ac'cent Flavor Enhancer MSG, Kosher, 4.5 oz

MSG (monosodium glutamate) has been stigmatized by some unsavory interpretations from the food industry. I shake it into broths to help bring out the full-bodied flavor in foods, and that's what this product is intended to do in moderation. MSG or Umami comes from the naturally occurring amino acid glutamic acid. Accent seasoning enhances the umami, or savory flavor, in a variety of foods. Customers find them more tasty and pleasurable as a result.

I only use Accent once a year at Christmas, when I bake a special snack to give as gifts to family and friends. It's getting more difficult each year to find stores that carry this seasoning, but Wal-Mart had it available onnline. I was delighted to find it on the Wal-Mart app.

While you can buy a bag of MSG (the only ingredient in Accent) in Asian markets, this bottle is more convenient. MSG is a good lower-sodium seasoning than salt and as a boost, it adds the umami flavor that is important to many foods. I use it regularly, especially when I think a dish is missing something. Often this makes all the difference.

I've tried so many different seasonings, some go well with some things and not others. I've found accent goes great on everything form steaks to french fries. About the only thing I don't use it on is turkey, because you just can't improve on a properly roasted turkey.

most people think MSG is bad for you, it is a natural product and does make food taste better without adding any salt. This is not a salt.

Just received yesterday have a few new recipes that call for MSG and use to use this year's and year's ago. So here I go again 👍👍

I add a little bit to my recipes to add a pop of bold flavor. I love the taste and it works well with lots of dishes!

Love accent it's a flavor changer I feel it brings out more of the food items that you can only say mmmmmm. It's worth trying I definitely recommend for any food spice needs

It adds flavor wherever you shake it! I have used Accent for years and stopped for a while when everyone was yelling about msg. After that I started slowly adding it back into my own diet with no problems.. just great flavor!!

I am requesting a refund for this item as it had a hole in the bottle and spilled inside the bag with the other groceries in it.
