great product easy to install. And looks great on my 2024 Denali every were In go I get complements on the light.
Install would have been easer if my vehicle didn't require me remove the entire grill in order to get to the headlight fixtures. I was worried about the wire tap quality at first. But no issues so far. I live in MN, and it has held up in snow/wind/rain and sub zero temperatures. Might help to have another person help for alignment. I had some help and only took just over an hour. And that is counting putting the truck back together. You can find diagrams online for the wire harness guide. Again, it works just as advertised. Very happy with the product.
I haven't received the item yet
Placed my order 7 weeks ago and still waiting. Would love to review an item I have but still waiting
I like this addition to the truck, its a fairly straight forward process to install, and looks really good on the truck. definitely recommend getting the pro model for the directional lights. My only critique would be, since this is so vehicle specific could the wiring come with a plug that fits into the factory headlight plug? This would eliminate the need to splice into factory wires. I bought an aftermarket adapter to do this and it worked so easy without splicing any wires. Just my two cents. Thanks for a great product!
The style of the shield is great. It is a perfect fit for my Ram 1500 limited. My only concern is that there is not enough color match options. I had to get it color matched which cost me an additional 215 bucks. My color is Patriot Blue
I just bought the AVS Aeroskin Lightshield PRO and could not for the life of me figure out what wires to tap into, so I wanted to share my results with anyone else looking for information on this. 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 - 12 Pin Headlamp Harness [Ground] Black Wire on Black Wire (Slot 1 Drivers Side) [Parking Lights] Brown Wire on Blue/White Wire (Slot 5 Drivers Side) [Left Turn Signal] Yellow Wire on Blue/White Wire (Slot 7 Drivers Side) [Right Turn Signal] Green Wire on Blue/White Wire (Slot 7 Passenger Side) I would rely more on the slot number vs color, but you can test each slot with a voltmeter to be sure. This is if you have the pin unplugged and you're looking at the flat end with the red tab on top. Slot 1 would be the top right, 6 is top left, 7 is bottom right and 12 is bottom left. Hopefully this helps someone else out since the instructions don't.
Not designed for the Silverado - you have to invert the light bar which transposes the turn signals, thus the driver's side turn signal wire needs to be spliced. Wiring Instructions are non-existent - they need to be vehicle specific and not rely on YouTube videos of people struggling to install the wiring properly. To wire the turn signals properly requires you to splice into an external wiring bundle basically at the bottom of the chassis which is a matter of time before that's an issue. Just get the regular light shield and fuse tap the trailer parking lights - you'll thank me.
took it out of the box and set it on my hood, Looked like cheap garbage so I returned it and got one without lights. Realtruck took care of me without issue.
I think you guys might be giving false info on the Aeroskin pro for a trail Boss. The trail boss hood did change in latter 2021 models but the early models I feel and from what I see on the internet The Aeroskin will fit. So I think you should research this and fix your site to state this. I would like to try this on my truck since I do have an early model trail boss. But would like realtruck to verify this info before I purchase it. I would be willing to help if realtruck is willing.
